Many trails & animals!
I loved visiting on a Tuesday morning. The wildlife rehab and farm animals are fun for families to visit and I had the trails to myself. The trails are nicely cleared and mostly woods with occasional...
Minutes away from high falls state park and admission is free. Many animals; tigers, bears, peacocks, turtles, cougar, snakes, owls, birds!! Very easy to access and many shaded areas.
Short walk. Fully shaded. Beautiful view the whole way. Can actually get to the water at the end with nice crushed shell shore and a cute little bench to sit and soak in the view.
We enjoyed all of it, nice animal displays, and walking trails, loved sitting on the porch of the office area and watching all of the busy humming birds, we would recommend.
While summer weather may prove hot for this activity, we had a mild day and still walked up a sweat. Many of the animals exhibited are orphaned, injured, or nuisance. With 20+ miles of hiking & biki...
