Soswaewon Garden

Chisa Garden is a folk garden with traditional Korean style. In the Joseon Dynasty, after the death of his mentor Cho Kwangjo (1482-1519) in a party dispute, Yang Sanbo (1503-1557) retired from his career and built this garden. Surrounded by bamboo forests, Chisa Garden is filled with the wind of peace and happiness that the ancestors liked. There is a small stream in the center, and various trees such as peach trees are planted on the slopes on the left and right. The clear stream under the wall runs around the rock, and a single-plank bridge is suspended over the stream, which adds to the elegant scenery. The artificial waterfall flows down from the water, and blends harmoniously with the surrounding natural landscape, showing the beauty of the landscape. Chisa Garden is about 150 meters away from the highway and is connected by a bamboo forest road. From the road inward, the valley and Chisa Garden are on the right side of the bamboo forest road.
