Xicheng Menwengcheng Ruins

The ancient city wall at the west gate can be said to be a very low-key attraction. Guangzhou Metro has a subway station called the west gate. In fact, it refers to the west gate of the ancient city wall of Guangzhou. The location is at the junction of Zhongshan 7th Road and Renmin Middle Road. It is a busy traffic intersection. Now there is a small section of the ancient city wall restored, you can imagine the grand height of the former city wall, reflecting the traces of the changes of the city.

The site of Xichengmen Yucheng in the Ming Dynasty is located at the west gate of Zhongshan 7th Road. It is the only base site of the earliest and most complete city building found in Guangzhou so far. It is also one of the important historical physical bases for Guangzhou's urban development. It is also an important content of the protection of Guangzhou's famous historical and cultural city.

This piece of "Ximending City Site" at the junction of Zhongshan 7th Road and Renmin Road is not very eye-catching. Maybe many people always pass by and do not know. Since some outdoor activities we played many years ago have a topic to be designated to take pictures here, That's why I know this small historical attraction. This is the relics of the city gate built in the Ming Dynasty, recording the old time of the ancient city of Guangzhou. The site is surrounded by iron railings, and you can only watch outside the iron railings, but this can protect the site very well.

I feel very satisfied with the first experience. It is indeed a good place to relax. I will come often in the future.
