There is a monument of poetry that is not lost in the rain, but I was especially impressed to know that Kenji's remains were buried under it. In contrast to the poem "No loss to rain" discovered by relatives after his death, the suffering when he lay in bed while hoping for a strong skull has come closer. The fields still remain under the square of the monument as Hiro 々, and it seemed that time had stopped.
It is located in a quiet place surrounded by trees 々 on the west bank of the Kitakami River. It's a idyllic countryside, but when I visited in winter, it was a little difficult to walk because of the snow. There are many places in Hanamaki related to Kenji Miyazawa, but I think it's good that this place is not like a tourist destination.
I stopped by when I traveled on the old Oshu Kaido by running. There were no other tourists and it was quiet. When I looked in the direction of the field below from the grove, which is said to have been the main building, the scenery opened suddenly and I was deeply moved to think that I was living while feeling such a scenery.

Currently, the Rasujijin Association has been moved to another place, but if you like Kenji, you can't help but come here. After his death, the "Rain Nimomakezu" monument (written by Kotaro Takamura) was erected.
A poetry monument standing in the forest. It is carved from the middle of the poem, but it is a place where you can't help but be fascinated and relax. The replica signboard of "I'm in the lower hatake. Kenji" was impressive.
