Beautiful falls in a peaceful and unusual setting

A guide took us here, or we would otherwise have missed them. The falls a nothing spectacular, but they are in a very nice setting, and unusually, behind/on the grounds of a shrine.

    Jolie な

    Original Text

It's not a big waterfall, but it's neatly divided into two and falls into a basin. It seems that it is used for bathing at the festival of the next shrine.

A waterfall in Hakuba Jinja shrine

    Original Text

It is a waterfall in Shirataki Shrine, where Ennin is said to be the founder. It seems that it is said that he felt the sacred thing incomparably with this waterfall and carved Fudoson, and the waterfall with plenty of water makes you feel refreshed with the surrounding greenery.

    You can go right below.

    Original Text

It is a waterfall in the precincts of a shrine called Shirataki Shrine. You can access it by car. Although there is not much head, the amount of water is large and you can go near the basin, so it was powerful when viewed from directly below. There was a sign saying that you would visit not only the waterfall but also the shrine.

and the waterfalls and shrines that are rich in water

    Original Text

A shrine with a unique name written as Shirataki instead of Shirataki and a Shintai Waterfall are integrated. First, visit the shrine, go up to the hall of worship, pray, then look at the waterfall from the window, then head to the waterfall. The waterfall, which is not so big, but has a lot of water, is powerful and relieves the heat.
