The ropeway is quite expensive, but you can ride it in a private room without hesitation, and the observatory has a cool temperature of around 20 degrees Celsius. Perfect for summer vacation. There are no restaurants at Michisugara and the ropeway stations, so eat at Kaida Kogen or somewhere during lunch before climbing. There is a coffee shop at the station on the mountain.
