Mount Qingzhi

Qingzhi Mountain is located on the northwest side of Guantou Town, Lianjiang in the lower reaches of the Minjiang River. Qingzhi Mountain is about 42 kilometers away from Fuzhou. Legend has it that in ancient times there were blue-purple Ganoderma lucidum growing on the mountain, hence the name Qingzhi Mountain; because there are many caves on Qingzhi Mountain, Qingzhi Mountain is also called Baidong Mountain. Qingzhi Mountain is the second batch of provincial-level scenic spots. The whole Qingzhi Mountain consists of 108 scenic spots, such as strange peaks, strange caves, strange rocks, and flowing springs. There are also Qingzhi Temple, Meihua Building, Xiaoyulu, Linsen Tibetan Bone Pagoda and other buildings built on the mountain. Qingzhi Temple was originally built in the north of Baxianyan. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Dong Yingju, the minister of the Ministry of Industry, retired to the fields, opened up the scenic spot of Qingzhi, and moved the temple here. In the thirteenth year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1887), the Daishi Hall was rebuilt. In 1934, Lin Sen, a veteran of Xinhai and chairman of the Nationalist Government, raised funds to build the front hall (also known as the Hall of the Lower Lord). The temple is small, exquisite and unique. It has been redecorated in recent years and has a new look. There are Lion Rock, Sanyu Rock, Wuqu Cave, Bat Cave, Yuangong Rock, "Stone Whale", "Xiantao", "Cactus", "Sun Wheel", "Shi Ding", One Line Sky, and Langfeng Terrace beside the temple. and other scenery. At that time, Dong Ying was impeached and dismissed Wei Zhongxian, an eunuch who was attached to the eunuch. He returned to his hometown to repair this reading center, and he used Hanmei and Aoxue to describe himself as a strong character. In 1919, the villagers rebuilt the Qingzhi landscape, moved the old building of Dong's house to the left of the temple, and planted plum trees outside the building.
