Ganqu Temple (also known as Kangsa Gandan Qugu Temple) is located in Ganqu Village, Ganqu Town, Linzhou County, 65 kilometers away from Lhasa, with convenient transportation. Ganqu Temple was founded by Xitang-Yixi Jiunai in 1100 AD and belongs to the Gelu sect. The main temple is Yixi Jiunai Buddha, and the representative living Buddha is Awang Danzeng. Historical changes, the current Ganqu Temple has no historical heyday, the temple layout is still old-fashioned, there is no situation of renovation and expansion, there are dozens of monks. The god-jumping event held on the 28th and 29th November of the Tibetan calendar every year, there are many people coming to the Buddha, and it may be time for the temple to be incense.
