Short stop to view old lighthouse that is in good shape. Site of landing for a number of explorers including Cook and Bly. Scenic grounds and a couple nice monuments.

Historic and very interesting
Built in 1867 to a design by Robert Louis Stevensons’s dad this was the first lighthouse in the South Pacific. It stands in a great setting though it was not open when we got there.
