Museum is only reason to visit

The museum is worth it but the rest of the Citadelle is underwhelming. Entrance was difficult to find and not really very accessible.

Charming Spot

I walked through this courtyard area everyday during our 6 weeks in Montpelier and always enjoyed the ambience and the towering citadelle. Took a few photos. Calm and peaceful.

Part of the Old Walls

This is part of the old walls that were once around the old city. The outline of the old city is the same as the routes of several tram lines. This vestige is worth a quick visit.
