it might be suitable for those who like climbing.
It is not as spacious as I thought it would be. Transportation is not convenient to get to this location. We took a bus from the station. There were not many people there, probably because it is not w...
We started the 2.5 km "Takatoriyama Hiking Course" from Higashi-Zushi Station 東逗子 for this very quiet and interesting hike which took just a couple of hours. Exit the station, turn right, and go back...
I took a walk on the Takatoriyama hiking course that leads through Jinmuji Temple from JR Higashizushi Station to Keikyu Oohama Station. On the way, it was a hike for about 2 hours while visiting the shrine and looking at the scenery from the observatory. It feels good because it is a forest belt, but be careful about sparrows. Women should be careful about shoes as there are chains and rocky areas. Also, small children have tough rocky areas.
If you follow the street of 2 lanes from Oihama Station, you will find a tunnel opposite Takatori Elementary School. The stairs on the left side lead to the mountain trail. The mountain trails are relatively well maintained, but the rocks are rugged because it is a mountain that used to be a stone production area. I wonder if it will be painful unless you are familiar with shoes. If you fall, it may hurt considerably. There was an observatory at the top of the mountain, and the scenery overlooking was superb. You can see not only the direction of Oihama but also the direction of Zushi.
From Higashizushi Station, you can climb the Omotesando of Jinmuji Temple and go to the top of Mt. Takatori as it is. Some people enjoyed rock climbing on the steep wall at the site of the stone cut site on the top of the mountain. It seems that it is a registration system to climb. The view from the observatory on the top of the mountain was wonderful. After that, I got off to the east side and walked to Oihama Station. It was about an hour and a half walk, but the road was rich and interesting.

It's a low mountain, but it's a lot of change.

Be careful at your feet.
