Koizumi City Place にある Park
Original Text
Jonouchi Park is a park located on the ruins of Koizumi Castle, which was Mr. Tomioka's residence. The outer moat, the inner moat, the earthworks, etc. remain in good shape, and if you like castles, you can see that it is a castle ruin at a glance. The remains of Honmaru and Ninomaru remain in the park, and unfortunately the remains of Sannomaru are junior high schools. The remains of the turret stand still clearly in the park. The remains of the main enclosure are lawn squares and are playgrounds for children, but you can clearly see the remains of the main enclosure. Leave the precious castle ruins as a park ...
It was built in 1489 and seems to be maintaining a part of the Honmaru and Ninomaru, but you can't see anything like a castle anywhere. Water was accumulated in the moat and turtles and ducks were playing. It is said that spring will be a famous place for cherry blossoms. It is about 7 minutes walk from Koizumi Station.
It is a relatively large park in Oizumi. Since it is a so-called civic park, it is not a place to come all the way to sightseeing, but it is a famous place for cherry blossoms around here.
It is a park maintained on the ruins of Koizumi Castle built in the Muromachi period, and although it is a little old-fashioned, there are playsets such as a sveli stand, a swing, and a jungle gym. There are about 300 cherry blossoms in the park and the "Sakura Festival" is held, so I visited in early April, but this year the cherry blossoms bloomed early and Yoshino cherry blossoms were scattered. Although the number was small, the double cherry blossoms were in full bloom, so I enjoyed it a little.
A park that maintains a part of the main enclosure and Ninomaru of Koizumi Castle, which was built in 1489 during the Muromachi period. 300 cherry trees are planted at last. You can see cherry blossoms on both sides of the earthworks and moat. Guidance of parking lots and wheelchairs were rented for people with disabilities. There was also a store open and there was a rest area where you could relax and enjoy the historic cherry blossoms. It seems to be lit up at night. There are also large carp in the moat, and children's playset with probably abandoned turtles dried in shells. BBQ ...
