Cementerio Municipal

Interesting graveyard to go, from the recent local mixed graves, migrants, old institutional maps from various societies and orders and some old gravestones/monuments from the war for the British and Germans. Fun place to walk for an hour or two. Would recommend this hotel especially because of what can be done in Punta Arenas!

Municipal cemeteries do not have a traditional feel in the middle of the city. There are many monuments in various styles between trees. Some of the trails between trees are like natural plant mazes. The tombstones here are like small houses, with various styles of sculptures and decorated sculptures, columns.
