Roman bridge of Salamanca

We walked out of the hotel and walked to the end of the Roman Bridge. The walk across the bridge and out of town was very enjoyable and perfect for taking pictures of the beautiful bridge with the church as the background. Turn left at the end of the bridge and walk along the river to the second bridge from which you can return to the town, which is a very good way to digest the breakfast. Very recommended.

The Roman bridge is a famous historical monument in Salamanca, still intact across the Tolem River, and the arches near the city can be traced back to the early AD, and the rest were rebuilt after being destroyed by floods. The bridge witnessed Salamanca's medieval prosperity.
