Tank Park in the Magic City is a great spot for photography, with its simple and grand design
I have been to Tank Park twice. It's a spacious and photogenic place. With few people around, the reeds and white tanks complement each other, creating a clean and simple backdrop, perfect for portrait, picnic, and family photos, which is why Wei Ge made a strong appearance again
The interior of the tanks is often closed to the public, but the exterior is a public green space where you can check in freely. Just be careful not to damage public property or the greenery. There are a total of five tanks, offering plenty of spots for taking pictures. You can use the tanks as a background or foreground, the reeds, the white zebra crossing nearby, and the steps in front of the tanks. If you need to lay down a picnic mat, there are two green spaces deep in the tank area, but tents are not allowed. The specific spots where you can lay down a picnic mat will be informed by the security guards. Because we were asked to move shortly after starting our picnic photo session, we quickly finished taking photos under the watchful eye of the security guard.
🚇Transport: There is a subway nearby, but it's more convenient to drive, although parking can be difficult. The tank park does not have its own parking lot, and the nearby West Bund Art Museum requires a reservation for parking and is closed on Mondays. Later, we parked at the Baihui Garden parking lot next to 2865 Longteng Avenue, Puyin Leasing, which is less than a 10-minute walk to the tank park.
🚽Toilets: There are no fixed restrooms, but there are temporary toilets near the riverside.
After being cooped up at home for a long time, we really crave going out for some fresh air! It's also a great place to take the kids out for a walk, especially before the weather gets too hot. Remember to bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent.

Shanghai Oil Tank Art Center is located at No. 2380 Longteng Avenue, Xuhui District, Shanghai. It is located in the core location of Xuhui Riverside, on the banks of the Huangpu River. The Oil Tank Art Center consists of five oil tanks and is a vibrant artistic and cultural landscape in Shanghai.
It's really a genius of art. Now many of them can be turned into treasures. Combining the time and place, people and people, the brain is open, this is a good reflection. The timing is right, and Fandai is beautiful. The welfare of nearby residents is located on the riverside of Xuhui.
The Oil Tank Art Center is adjacent to the Xuhui Riverside. The architectural shape is ingenious. Several white oil tanks in Nuoda are very visual. The layout in front of the different oil tanks has a careful thought. There is a kind of pink grass, which makes the white buildings more detached in the pink ocean. There are cobblestone paving roads, pick up the steps, wild fun. There is also a small earth slope covered with autumn leaves, which is set against the sky and clouds. An exhibition held from time to time, at a cost of less than 100 yuan, can kill weekend time.
The oil tank art center on the riverside of Xuhui has become a beautiful scenery on the west bank of the Pujiang River. After the transformation of the oil tank, a large number of flowers and plants have been planted around it to form a beautiful landscape. It is a distinctive landscape throughout the West Bank area.
Shanghai Oil Tank Art Center is located at 2380 Longteng Avenue, Xuhui District, Shanghai, located in the core of Xuhui Riverside, on the banks of the Huangpu River. The five oil storage tanks belong to the earliest airport in China, Shanghai Longhua Airport, which was fully retained after the airport was discontinued in 1966. Now, the Shanghai Oil Tank Art Center is a non-profit art institution, a pioneering and multi-functional art center, through contemporary art exhibitions and events, the public can get close to the art, architecture, cities, nature and Huangpu River landscape. Unfortunately, when I went in April this year, the greening around the oil tank was a bit bare, and it was probably being refurbished.
The oil tank transformed from the original Longhua Airport facilities is now also the exhibition area in Xuhui Riverside Art Belt. The English name Tank sounds very domineering. The whole rapeseed flower forms a natural feeling on the edge of the oil tank. The scenery with a certain slope is also Very attractive eyeballs, one of the few natural and humanistic landscape areas in the city center.
