It was a dark and stormy night -- well not exactly, but it was cool, overcast and spitting some light rain when we arrived. The view, however, was well worth the trip up to the top. On a nice day, the...

It was somewhat hard to find the road that leads to the top. so follow the map directions carefully. Great distant views, grateful there were flush toilets on top. a must see when in La crosse.

Glad I made the trek up there when arriving in to town early! Beautiful views, many trail options, several places to pull off for scenic overlook.

It’s a bluff, not a mountain! Top notch views. On a clear day, you can see three states: Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota. I wish we had more time for hiking.
Be sure to stop!
Nice pavilion and facilities at top. Great views and wild flowers. Interpretive signs about history of the area. Also, pictures from 1900.
