Nothing special
Although this arch looks pretty, I do not think that it is really special. It is in between two nearby natural pools.

Nice stop on your walk around town
This is a small viewpoint (miradouro) just below the Sao Jorge Garden Hotel. Apart from the lava formation you can watch the waves on the rocks and look across at adjacent island so.
Breathtaking arch
The natural volcanic arch in Velas on the island of Sao Jorge is simply beautiful. The waves pounding against it makes for a stunning photo op.
