Weishandengjue Temple

Dengjue Temple is located in the northeast of the ancient city of Dangshan, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It was built in the Nanxun period and is the largest Buddhist monastery in Dangshan. The existing buildings are mainly twin towers, sun palace and so on. The Sun Palace was built in Mingyongle for 16 years, and was funded by Zuo's toast. It is a single-mountain building with heavy five-step arches on the front and left and right under the slab. The rear slab is decorated with vertical columns. The whole building is simple and majestic.

The ancient city of Lushan has more real monuments than Dali and Lijiang. The Nanxun Museum, located in the east of the ancient city, is located on the original site of the Ming Dynasty buildings and other Jue Temples of the national cultural and environmental protection units. The building itself is a monument, not like some famous "new monuments" of the "old city". In addition to the display of Nanxun historical relics, the model of the ancient city of Lushan and the protection of ancient buildings, there is also a free professional explanation, which specially explained for us for an hour, and learned a lot of Nanxun history and the history of Lushan ancient city that we have not known before. The simple folk customs are moving.

Now it is the Nanxun Museum, and some Nanxun history is displayed. The Sun Palace should have just been restored, full of quaint atmosphere in the Ming Dynasty buildings, the restoration is very very professional, there are two yards on the left and right of the Sun Palace, and there is another artistic conception.

The temple now only leaves the twin towers and the Sun Palace, which basically belongs to the Nanxun Museum. It is just a wall between the twin towers and the Sun Palace. It was built in the Yongle Year of the Ming Dynasty. The wooden doors displayed in the hall are beautifully carved and have many beautiful meanings.
