Qinghe Bridge

Qinghe Bridge is located in Wuhan East Lake Scenic Area. It is the land passage connecting Luoyan Scenic Spot to Moshan Scenic Area, and it is also the main landmark building on the water of Luoyan Scenic Area. The total length of the bridge is 150 meters, and it can be used for both vehicles and pedestrians. According to legend, during the Spring and Autumn Period, King Zhuang of Chu fought a big battle here, quelled the rebellion, and left behind the story of Yang Youji, the archer of the state of Chu, "one arrow will fix the world". Yang Youji shot dead the enemy's general Douyuejiao with one arrow and asked King Zhuang of Chu to spare the battle, so the bridge was called "Please He Bridge", and over time it became "Qinghe Bridge". The bridge is meticulously crafted and has the characteristics of Chu culture. There are two sculptures on the bridge, one is the three arrows of Douyuejiao, and the other is Yangyouji. Standing on the Qinghe Bridge, you can see seven of the twenty-four East Lake scenes, and when you see the Qinghe Bridge from a distance, the statue of Yang Youji is particularly eye-catching. The completion of this bridge has shortened the distances between various scenic spots in the East Lake, and is a very important traffic artery in the entire East Lake.
