Shenna Ruins

Xining City on the basis of Shenna ruins is under construction in Xining City Shenna ruins park will be a regional characteristic of our city collection of cultural heritage, display leisure function as one of the ruins park. At present, the Shenna Ruins Park project has completed the main structure construction of the tourist service center, and the plan is to have a landscape scale before the end of the year.

Shenna site is one of the sites where many cultures coexist with large area, thick accumulation of cultural layers, rich cultural connotation and better preservation status. The Shenna site was discovered by a famous archaeologist and anthropologist Mr. Yuan Wen in 1948 and unearthed many fine artifacts. At present, the excavation and finishing of the Shenna site is under intense work. On May 25, 2006, Shenna Site, as an ancient site of Neolithic to Bronze Age, was approved by the State Council for inclusion in the list of the sixth batch of key cultural relics protection units nationwide.
