2024.4.17 The Big Buddha Temple was restored and rebuilt on the original site of the ancient royal monastery of the Yuan Dynasty, the "Jingpiao Buddha Temple". It was built by the Bolongyu King in memory of the deceased princess Nansha Weibian. The long history and beautiful love make the Big Buddha Temple full of stories... (mng lè) Big Buddha Temple, Located in Nanlian Mountain, Jinghong City, the state capital of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, it was built in the Ming Dynasty and was originally named "Jingpiao Buddha Temple". It was destroyed in the Qingxianfeng years (1848 AD), and was rebuilt on the original site in 2005. National 4A-level scenic spot. Pajazhen, the middle and lower reaches of the Lancang River centered on Jinghong in 542 (AD 1180), ended more than 200 years of scuffles between tribes and princes. The emperor of the state of Yuan was subject to the emperor's seal of the Tian Dynasty (Southern Song Dynasty), and after the regime change of the Central Plains Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing, his ruling power was inherited from generation to generation, nearly 800 years, until the liberation of Xishuangbanna. The statue of Payazhen is 3 meters high and is shaped in bronze, symbolizing the mountain and river earth mural stone carvings of Xishuangbanna, showing the process of the reunification of Payazhen Xishuangbanna and the peaceful prosperity of Xishuangbanna after the reunification. Zhuang Kai Shwedagon Pagoda, located in the Peak Park, about 60 meters in diameter and about 80 meters high, is the largest Jinta in Southeast Asia, and is also a landmark building in Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna. The Shwedagon Pagoda consists of a main tower, 8 sub-towers and 16 small towers. Doors are set on all sides, and each door is guarded by a pair of town tower mascots. The true statue of Buddha Sakyamuni at the age of 35 is 49 meters tall. It is the largest Buddha statue in Southeast Asia. Bronze casting.

Free, come and feel the faith here, next to Manting Park, after visiting Manting Park, go out to the General Buddha Temple, not bad. The architectural style is very Thai, you can go to punch in, and the photo is very good.

If you walk this attraction in 5 minutes, you can walk. The road up the mountain is a bit narrow. The first stop in Banna came here. Silver Buddhism. Boruo Temple. Fortunately to see the abbot and the leader here. Tell us about this ancient Bodhiko tree. Their hearts are revered. The ease of doing things is really worth learning.

Very picturesque place with nice area views from the top. At the top temple spot you can buy a cold coconut and chill on the lawn. Feels really good after going up the stairs.

20211209 In the afternoon: 1. "Wuhan Chunman Dafo Temple" is located in the "Yi Nationality Park" in the 4A scenic spot. The scenic spot can only be driven by bus. You can buy a day tour product including direct train tickets and tickets on the Trip.com APP. If you only buy a ticket, you can buy it on the local official tourism official account "Banna Good Line". 2. Yi garden is a mild commercial development of Yi tribes, non-main street Yi people's houses are almost original. After entering the door, I interspersed in the south side of the residential road to observe Yi customs up close. The Yi house does not live on the first floor, it is used as a living room or a garage (every family has a car), because mosquitoes and beasts in tropical areas are more concentrated in low-lying areas. The bedroom is on the second floor, and you have to take off your shoes. It is said that only after entering the bedroom, you can let outsiders see it. Each has a yard for growing vegetables or raising chickens and ducks. Each has its own characteristics. Some are made of succulents into fences, and some hang a QR code on their caramel tree. After scanning the code, they pick caramel for themselves. No one looks at it. 3. Many temples in the scenic area were built by villagers themselves, each with its style and characteristics. The largest and most luxurious is the "Buhan Chunman Buddha Temple" in the center of the scenic spot. It was built in 583. It is said to be the first Buddhist temple after Buddhism was introduced to Xishuangbanna. It is comparable to the general temple in Manting Park in the morning. The magnificent and solemn, three white elephants carrying the four-faced Buddha elegant and exquisite shape. To enter the main hall to take off your shoes, the temple is hidden more than 2,000 years old shell leaf scriptures (written on the shell leaf brown leaf of one of the largest palm tree species), nearby residential shops have introduced its production process. The monastery is the highest value of the human landscape in the village, and the rest of the small Buddha Temple have "the Great Buddha Temple of the Hanman", "Mancha Buddha Temple" (the stockade next to it is called "Mancha Village"), "Manting Buddha Temple" (beside "Manting Village", the easternmost side of the scenic spot, there is a tower with trees at the door, and the tree is surrounded by the tower "tower tree". The temple is ordinary, but there is a hanging wooden house where the monks live in the backyard of the temple, and there is a dragon boat piled up, which is more primitive and more real). 4. Next to the temple is a sightseeing station. The scenic spots are not very flat. You can sit on the sightseeing car or not. This is already the center of the scenic spot, many homestays, restaurants, ethnic clothing stalls, fruit stalls (fresh coconuts are particularly cheap, 5 yuan 1, on-site shells, and you can bargain to 5 yuan 2 when the stalls are closed in the afternoon) and so on.

山在穷游
Today, I want to recommend the free temple of Xishuangbanna West Line Manshor Buddha Temple is the first temple I passed from Xishuangbanna to the west. When I arrived here, there was no one, just walking slowly by the temple, waiting for the sun to come out. 🚉 Traffic Raiders: 1. Self-driving, self-driving friends are simple, navigation Mansiao Village can find Mansiao Buddha Temple. 2. Poor travel backpacks, friends like me, can completely take the car from Banna Bus Station or Jinghong Bus Station to Yuzhai, under Mansiao. There are two not so good places here. The first is that there are relatively few cars from Banna to Mengzhou. You can choose to make a transit in Bohai Sea. The second is from Banna to Manshort. It does not sell range tickets. You can only buy the full price ticket for Yusha. The back ten kilometers are wasted like this. 👍 is the most recommended: 1. The most recommended thing to see when you come to Manshou Buddha Temple is his eaves. This is also the best eaves among all the temples in Xishuangbanna I see. There are small people of different shapes above the eaves. If you carefully observe the four corners of the temple, There is also the existence of human faces (Figure 7) 2. It is recommended that you choose to come in the afternoon. I came in the morning. The sun is on the east, and the whole open temple can be photographed in the west, so if I take the west, there will be a reverse light situation. You will find that the picture 3 I took is not a panoramic view. There will be trees next to it to block 3. There is also a new temple next to the ancient temple, it is estimated that it is a common rest or other use of the temple and the other characteristics are completely different from the other characteristics of the temple is built with gold and silver decoration (Figure 8)

Xishuangbanna Yi Nationality Park is a primitive and modern Yi village, which is located in temples, houses and other buildings full of Yi nationality. Especially the water splashing activities held in the water splashing square, let me fully appreciate the unique scenery of the Yi people. Worth praise!
