The Roppongi Christmas Market is located at O-Yane Plaza in Roppongi Hills. Celebrating its 17th year, this market aims to recreate the world's largest Christmas market in Stuttgart, Germany, in Japan on a smaller scale. Across the many stores, you'll find over 1,500 unique items, with a wide array of ornaments, wreaths, and other festive home decor to add a touch of Christmas magic to your celebrations. Tuck into mouthwatering German cuisine, including sausages and glühwein - a warm, spiced seasonal drink. This market will run from Nov 6 to Dec 25. Entry is free, so come with yen in hand to explore the stalls. #Japan #Travel #Christmas

The Ginkgo Avenue in the Outer Garden of Meiji Shrine is less than 200 meters long, with four rows of neatly planted ginkgo trees on both sides of the road. The trees are pruned into a tower shape, with a carriageway in the middle and sidewalks on both sides. From mid-November to early December each year is the season to watch the yellow leaves. On November 13, 2023, I went to the Outer Garden of Meiji Shrine for the first time. The ginkgo leaves hadn't turned yellow much, except for some leaves on the top of some trees were a bit yellow, most of them were light green. A week later, on November 20, most of the leaves had turned yellow, and some trees had turned golden. It was a sunny day, and the Ginkgo Avenue under the blue sky was so beautiful. I guess in a few days, when all the leaves turn golden and the fallen leaves cover the ground, the scene will be even more charming. Transportation: Take the Toei Oedo Line to Aoyama-itchome Station, remember to take Exit 1, take the elevator to the ground, walk about 200 meters to the left, and turn right is Ginkgo Avenue. Note: You can't walk on the carriageway to take pictures. There is a line between the sidewalk and the carriageway. There are police cars patrolling, using horns to remind people not to walk out of the road to take pictures. Many people will stop to take pictures when the pedestrian crossing light is green, and some people will walk to the edge of the road to take pictures when the police car is not there.

Address: Ginza Steak Second Shop, Japan, 〒104-0061 Tokyo, Chuo City, Ginza, 5 Chome−9−1 銀座幸ビル 地下1階 Price: 💰💰 Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A gastronomic journey awaited me after a 7-hour flight to Tokyo, and Ginza Steak Second Shop proved to be the ultimate destination for an indulgent teppanyaki experience. Pre-booking is a must for this popular venue, nestled in the basement of a building in Ginza. Seated at one of the two teppanyaki stations, I faced the chef, ready for an extraordinary culinary adventure. My lunch course, priced at $109 SGD, included an array of delights, complemented by an exquisite Sangria priced at $150 SGD. Despite its luxurious offerings, the experience was surprisingly affordable. The culinary delights included: 1. Chicken Galantine - A mystery dish that captivated my taste buds. Even as a picky eater, I found myself savoring every bite, including the fresh and crunchy vegetables. 2. Onion Soup - A creamy revelation that defied expectations, skillfully balancing flavors. 3. Baked Salmon - A plate of perfection, expertly seasoned and textured. 4. Sukiyaki A5 Kuroge Wagyu Beef Sirloin Slice - A heavenly treat, tender and succulent, leaving an indelible mark on my palate. 5. Free Flow Teppanyaki A5 Kuroge Wagyu Beef Shimohuri and Akami - A carnivore's dream, offering four generous steak portions, each surpassing the previous in tenderness and juiciness. The final cut, soft as butter, was a standout. Served with side condiments, the steak shone on its own, making additional sauces seem unnecessary. 6. Garlic Fried Rice with Miso Soup - A palate-cleansing portion, fortunately small as my stomach approached fullness. 7. Dessert - A delightful chocolate cake with mango ice cream, expertly balancing the savoriness of the previous courses. Service was impeccable, with a passionate chef explaining each dish in English, enhancing the overall experience. For anyone visiting Tokyo, Ginza Steak Second Shop is a culinary must, promising a journey through Wagyu perfection that demands an empty stomach. #hiddengems

This is one of the best ramen shop I've ever tried in Japan. I and my friends are just walking around trying to search a good restaurant nearby while we are walking to our destination when we saw this ramen shop on our way. The soup here is made from chicken carcasses, pork femur bones and negi, cooked in a pressure cooker. The name of the shop means 'my own', and company president Kobayashi-san says the numerous free condiments on the counter allow each customer to make the ramen 'their own'. Plenty of topping options too, like fried chicken karaage, and a choice of richer or lighter soup. There are roughly 15 branches in Tokyo and a few in Hong Kong. Original Shibuya Dogenzaka head shop open since July, 2010. Open every day of the year, 11am-6am. #tokyotrip

#tokyotrip Visiting the Tokyo Skytree is like stepping into a realm where the cityscape becomes a breathtaking masterpiece. On a recent visit, I was fortunate to experience the Skytree's allure both under the bright sun and the twinkling city lights. In the daylight, the Skytree's towering silhouette against the blue canvas of the sky creates an awe-inspiring sight. The panoramic views from the observation decks reveal Tokyo's expansive urban landscape, stretching as far as the eye can see. The city unfolds like a mosaic, with iconic landmarks and bustling neighborhoods forming a captivating tapestry below. As the sun began its descent, casting warm hues across the skyline, I witnessed the magical transition into the night. The city's vibrant energy comes alive in a different way, as millions of lights twinkle like stars below. Tokyo at night, viewed from the Skytree, is a symphony of colors and movement that simply takes your breath away. The observation decks provide an immersive experience, allowing you to trace the city's transformation from day to night. Whether you're captivated by the serenity of the sunset or mesmerized by the dynamic city lights, the Tokyo Skytree offers a visual feast that transcends the ordinary. A visit to the Tokyo Skytree is not just a journey to incredible heights; it's a dual experience that showcases Tokyo's beauty in both the radiant sunshine and the dazzling night sky. It's a testament to the city's vibrancy, viewed from a perspective that elevates the Tokyo skyline to a work of art
