Beijing Mama:“Stunning views and not too crowded. Paid 3000HUK for 2 adult tickets and 1500 for 2 kids' tickets. You can also use the viewing telescopes for free. Next door are two other beautiful churches, including the Mattias Church. The underground labyrinth of Buda Castle is also nearby, where the brave can try to get through the maze and find Dracula's coffin.”

有态度的拍拍:“City Park (Város liget) was built in 1817. It is a forest park behind Heroes Square, covering an area of about 1 square kilometer. It has hot springs, a zoo, an amusement park, and a botanical garden. It is a complex park suitable for all ages. There is an agricultural museum in the park, which is a mixture of Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles. Generally, group tourists will not move here after arriving at Heroes Square, so it is very quiet.”

The paintings in the early 20th century were post-impressionism, and later the popular constructionism and symbolism. Now it is the most important tourist destination in Hungary and the "exhibition hall" of Hungarian modern art schools. Exhibitions, art festivals and various performances are held there all year round. If you talk about the artistic atmosphere, this place is unique! It deserves the title of art town!”

As an important landmark of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, it is definitely a must-see landmark. Some of it is still used for official business, and most of it is for tourism. The whole process took one hour. The staff generally had average English. If you are late for more than ten minutes, the ticket will be invalid. It is important to remind you that the electronic ticket cannot be used directly and must be printed on paper. You can ask the hotel front desk for assistance.”

OLD MEI:“When we went there, the whole castle was shrouded in a mysterious atmosphere due to the heavy fog. As soon as we arrived at the foot of the castle (the second picture from the bottom), we could feel its grandeur. Climbing up the winding path, we saw lush trees on both sides, and the branches and leaves rustled in the breeze, as if whispering about the castle's past.
Inside the castle, the ancient walls, towers and palace ruins are scattered in an orderly manner. Walking into the tower, it seems that we can see the guards of the year standing guard here, watching the distance vigilantly.
Among the ruins of the palace, we can vaguely imagine the former splendor and glory.
Walking on the stone slabs of the castle, touching the ancient walls, the rough touch from the fingertips makes people sigh at the ruthlessness of time.
Travel tips:
- Tickets: The price of the castle ticket is moderate, equivalent to more than 50 yuan per person.
- Tour time: It is recommended to arrange a half-day to a day to visit, so that you can fully appreciate the beauty and historical relics of the castle. We visited for about two hours and still felt unsatisfied.
- Surrounding food: There are many Hungarian restaurants nearby. The tour guide took us to a very distinctive castle restaurant (see the last picture 1, and I will write about this restaurant in the subsequent special topic). It is recommended to taste local beef stew, roast pork elbow, venison soup and other delicacies, paired with Hungarian specialty wine, which is very delicious and allows your taste buds to enjoy it.
- Notes: Some areas in the castle are high, so you need to pay attention to safety when walking; it is rainy and foggy in winter, and it is relatively cold, so keep warm.”

It is said that before the end of World War II, the Soviet Red Army and the German Nazis fought a desperate battle here. The German Nazis once tried to blow up the Budapest Chain Bridge, but were stopped by the Hungarians. This was also where the king once lived, and it is also where Chen Peisi got his name.
