Fruška Gora

To be able to visit here and see very strange birds is a pleasure, closest to the main sidewalk. Or, better yet, take a rickshaw. We stayed very close, at the entrance to the park in The Birders Inn - highly recommended - actually return by rickshaw from there. We arrived at the park before sunrise - it was a good start time - the whole experience took about 4 hours. But be aware that food, drinks and other amenities are scarce so be prepared. Entry costs are fairly cheap. Very worth a visit if travelling in the area or from Jaipur to Agra.



Sirmium Imperial Palace

Because of the famous red wine produced, it is also called the wine town. The most famous Bermet red wine was even selected as a special supply to the Titanic. It used to be the political and cultural center of Vojvodina, and now it is a quiet and beautiful Baroque town.



Belgrade Fortress

The city is loud and bustling. Busy roads, busy streets and busy shops. This is like an oasis of calm that separates the bustle from the rivers. The fortress is well maintained and beautiful, with so many directions to choose for a walk afterwards. I chose to walk along the rivers whilst marvelling at the fortress on the hill. it’s easy to imagine why this place was chosen as an overwatch, very little can get in or out undetected.



Petrovaradin Fortress

Located in Novi Sad, the second largest city in Serbia, it is one of the three major attractions in Novi Sad (Petrovaradin Fortress, Freedom Square, and Red Wine Town). You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the river and the houses with red roofs.
