Join SheJumps as we celebrate Get the Girls Out! – a nationwide campaign uniting women and girls- transgender and cisgender- as well as non-binary individuals to embrace the great outdoors while fostering a sense of adventure and camaraderie. Spurred by International Women's Day, this program is a call to action for participants of all ages to connect with nature, break down barriers, and celebrate their achievements and strengths throughout the month of March. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or a newcomer, the Get the Girls Out! gatherings aim to foster a community where participants can thrive outdoors, inspire one another and younger generations, forge new connections, and rekindle friendships. Grab your friends, and get ready to make unforgettable memories! Join us in Enumclaw, WA for a full day of skiing, riding, and fun on March 2nd!Who can attend? We welcome all women and girls (transgender and cisgender) as well as non-binary people to attend this event. All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult for the entire event. Cost: Cost to participate is free, lift tickets can be added on for an extra cost if needed (see below). Early registration gets you one free raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased at the event. Lift Tickets: We have partnered with Crystal Mountain to be able to offer lift tickets for this event at $89 (+taxes and fees) with registration. Simply choose the lift ticket option when registering through Eventbrite. When you attend the event, bring your proof of purchase and we will have your lift ticket waiting for you*. Lift ticket sales end 02/26/2025 at 11:59 PM so don’t wait! *Lift ticket purchases do not include a Crystal Mountain parking reservation. Parking reservations need to be made for weekend days at Crystal Mountain! Learn more about Crystal’s parking reservations and their shuttle service (also needs a reservation) here. We suggest looking into your parking or shuttle situation WAY ahead of time. There will be a carpooling post/thread inside the Facebook event for people to coordinate rideshares. If you don’t get a parking or shuttle reservation, we tell people to try again early in the morning the day-of the event as guests are able to cancel their reservations until 6am the day-of. So far this has worked for many folks. Activities: Volunteer-led group rides based on skill level, Queen of the Greens, search for the golden Girafficorn prizes, Hike to the King (for advanced participants), Raffle, and Après Party! Please note that ski/snowboard ride groups during this event are NOT lessons. Groups are led by volunteers, and no instruction will be provided. Finding SheJumps at the base area: Look for our tents and banner right at the base area once you walk up the first set of stairs. Schedule: This is an all-day event with the option to participate in whatever activities you like. Timeline:8:00AM- Registration at the base area opens. 9:00 AM- Group photo & Organize into skills groups 9:15 AM- Morning Session - Ski/Ride Groups 12:00 PM- Optional Lunch/regroup at base 12:30 PM- Regroup / Freeski/snowboard- look for our tents in case we move them. 1:00PM- Hike to the King! Meet at Chair 6 at 1pm. (This is for Advanced Skies/Snowboarders and includes a mountain-side traverse, a 25+ minute hike, and possible deep powder/tree skiing.) 2:00 PM-4:00 PM- Après Party! (Near the Discovery Chairlift) 2:45 PM- Last call for raffle tickets 3:00PM- Raffle! What to bring: Bring anything you need to be comfortable for a day of skiing/riding. This could include extra layers, snacks, sun protection, water, hand warmers, medications, etc. While we don't require helmets, we encourage all participants to wear helmets while skiing/snowboarding! SheJumps will have a basic first aid kit at the base area tent. We’re all about FUN! Feel free to bring your inner Girafficorn and wear colorful, silly, and unique attire. Costumes are encouraged! Do you have some amazing leggings and a tutu? A stellar onesie? Vintage ski gear? A fun wig? Throw it on! Not into dressing up? That’s TOTALLY COOL TOO! Just bring your wonderful self however you feel comfortable and you will fit in just fine. While no public transportation is available, we encourage you to invite a friend and carpool if you can! Facility information: Gendered bathrooms are available at the base area and at various locations around the mountain. Accessibility information: The base area is ADA accessible. Some buildings are multi-level but we will be staying on the ground level base-area for all event activities. Adaptive skiers and riders are welcome to attend and participate! Join us for our Month Mountain Meetup at Crystal Mountain in Washington! We welcome all women (cis and trans), non-binary, other gender diverse participants! Come on out and shred snow with us on skis or snowboards and make some new mountain friends throughout the day. We aim to meet up at 10am at the base area (look for our banner!) and have the option to disperse or get back out together after lunch time. The optional lunch meetup will be at 1pm- location will be communicated at the morning sign-in. This page is set up as a series, if you hope to attend multiple meetups make sure you register for each day you would like to attend. Here is our meetup schedule for the winter: January 12thApril 12thMay 4thThere will be separate Facebook events for each event so we can use Facebook to coordinate each month! FYI these are NOT guided or teaching days and lift tickets are NOT included in this registration. Discounted group lift tickets may be available- if you need a ticket, please message the group leader, Chelsea about it. These are member run meetups so groups will determine together what trails they want to ride. Make sure to arrive on time so you don't get left behind! You will sign in there by getting a name tag for your helmet and then groups can discuss goals and desired runs before heading out. If you happen to have a buddy pass you are willing to share please post on our FB event page so shredders without a pass can link up with you! We strive to be an all inclusive group which includes making accommodations for our immune compromised shred friends! If someone requests masking in registration, we will all abide by masking and support their safety. **Please bring a medical or double layered mask (buffs do not work) to wear anytime you are within 6 ft of other people (lift lines and on the chairlift) in case there is a registration request.** We would also appreciate your assistance in reminding fellow SJ x SIS members to pull masks up when we get in line since we all forget sometimes! Once we are off the chairlift and able to space out you can pull your mask down. Do not attend if you have any symptoms or have been recently exposed to someone with COVID 19 or any other contagious illness. By attending you expressly assume all dangers of the activities, including injury, property damage, and death.
