ABOUT C.W. FARNSWORTH
C.W. Farnsworth is the author of numerous adult and young adult romance novels featuring sports, strong female leads, and happy endings.
Charlotte lives in Rhode Island and when she isn’t writing spends her free time reading, at the beach, or snuggling with her Australian Shepherd.
ABOUT
FIRST FLIGHT, FINAL FALL
What do you do when you encounter the famous footballer voted "Sexiest Athlete Alive" three years running on a soccer field in Germany?
If you're Saylor Scott, you challenge him to a shoot-out. And win.
Saylor's goals have always involved the literal kind constructed from posts and netting. Her single-minded focus has cost her a lot, but it's also earned her recognition as the top female college player in the US. She doesn't get attached, she never gets distracted, and she could care less what anyone thinks of her.
Meeting Adler Beck, the notorious player celebrated worldwide and coveted by women everywhere, challenges her indifference. But Saylor perfected the art of appearing unbothered a long time ago, and her scoring percentage is even higher off the pitch. Might as well add a gorgeous German to the tally.
Because only a fool would fall for a superstar known for breaking hearts alongside records.
And no one has ever accused Saylor Scott of being a fool.
ABOUT MONICA MURPHY
Monica Murphy is the
New York Times
and
USA Today bestselling
author of the One Week Girlfriend series, the Billionaire Bachelors and The Rules series. Her books have been translated in almost a dozen languages and has sold over one million copies worldwide. She is both a traditionally published author and an independently published author. She writes new adult, young adult and contemporary romance. She is also USA Today bestselling romance author Karen Erickson.
She is a wife and a mother of three who lives with her family in central California on fourteen acres in the middle of nowhere, along with their one dog and too many cats. A self-confessed workaholic, when she’s not writing, she’s reading or hanging out with her husband and kids. She’s a firm believer in happy endings, though she will admit to putting her characters through many angst-filled moments before they finally get that hard won HEA.

Apr 5, 2025 (UTC+0)ENDED
Cambridge
THE OLD MAN AND THE OLD MOON BOOK, MUSIC AND LYRICS BY PIGPEN THEATRE CO The Old Man and The Old Moon tells the story of The Old Man, who has kept his post as the sole caretaker of the moon for as long as he (or his wife, the Old Woman) can remember. When she is drawn away by a mysterious melody that sparks memories of their shared past, the Old Man must decide between duty (and routine) and love (and adventure). Luckily for audiences everywhere, he chooses the latter, and what follows is an imaginative sea-faring epic, encompassing apocalyptic storms, civil wars, leviathans of the deep, and cantankerous ghosts, as well as the fiercest obstacle of all: change. A show full of live music, puppetry and theatrical effects. The Old Man and The Old Moon is presented by special arrangement with Broadway Licensing, LLC. (www.broadwaylicensing.com) Please note this performance will contain flashing lights. This performance does not take place at the Mumford Theatre but at the Covent Garden Drama Studio, just a few minutes walk away! Cambridge Talks: Acts of Scaling | Harvard University Graduate School Of Design
Apr 4–Apr 5, 2025 (UTC-5)ENDED
Cambridge
In 1977, nine years after its initial release, Ray and Charles Eames issued an amended version of their experimental film Powers of Ten, incorporating two additional scales, and thereby effecting “a hundredfold increase—to each end of the journey into the universe, and to the return trip to the microstructure of the carbon atom in the human body.” Drawing on up-to-the-moment scientific developments at scales both extra-large and extra-small, seizing upon the power of then-novel media and representational techniques to appeal to very different audiences, and venturing well beyond the ostensible borders of the design disciplines, the Eames’ visual and narrative encapsulation of a complex and interconnected universe displays precisely how scale, or more precisely how scaling, can shape imaginaries and practices across the arts, humanities, and sciences, as well as in popular culture. As technical innovations augment the scope of our powers both to perceive and to intervene, we are confronted with a relentless ordering and reordering of knowledge. This epistemological dilemma compels us to articulate new theoretical frameworks, to relentlessly renegotiate disciplinary boundaries, and to analyze, address, and problem-solve between—and often simultaneously at—an ever-proliferating range of scales.
