Gino Vannelli Bio Since his debut release of Crazy Life, in 1973, Gino Vannelli has remained one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary music. His voice is as memorable as his hair, as he has been dubbed, “The Canadian singer songwriter with a lion's mane.” But Vannelli’s evolving music has kept his fan base growing for over 40 years. From rock, to jazz, to soul, even classical, this singer/songwriter/producer has left no musical stone unturned. With an amazing 21 albums under his belt, most hitting the Billboard charts—his recent release being ‘Live in LA’, a concert shot at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills, California, hitting number one on Amazon. Vannelli is a living legend, and his live shows should be seen to be believed. Some things get better with age and Vannelli is living embodiment of that sentiment. He released his 20th album entitled “Wilderness Road” on April 5th 2019, a brand new collection of recently written songs on his acoustic guitar. In 2021 Gino released a new compilation called “More that A Good Thing”, which contains a contemporary remake of The River Must Flow, (a song from the Brother to Brother record), featuring Brian Mcknight on backvocals and Michael Phillips on talk box. Gino has just finished production on the latest Massimo Ranieri album, “Tutti I Sogni, Ancora in Volo”, to be released in the fall of /22. Whether performing piano-voice concerts in theaters, singing before symphony orchestras in concert halls, big bands or a pop ensemble, to throngs of enthusiastic fans, Vannelli remains impassioned and true to his art as ever. His standing as a powerful and innovative live performer, his well-hewn musical skills as composer, poet, producer, arranger, and bandleader, keep his career rising to greater heights. Two years in the making, Gino just completed his new record entitled, “The Life I Got”, to be released on February 7th 2025. His most personal record yet. Some quick highlights: Over 20 millions records sold worldwide First Caucasian artist to perform on Soul train Performed live with Stevie Wonder Performed for the late Pope John Paul Concerts with his Portland band in Fall 2024 and 2025 Concerts with orchestras scheduled for Christmas of 2025. Depending on group ability and interest, we may summit a mountain, explore a waterfall, stay at camp to learn skills, swim, and/or fish. The hike will require hiking up to 5 miles or more on varied elevation and terrain each day and students are required to bring most of their own gear, however, some gear is available to rent. A detailed gear list will be sent to students before the trip. This is an overnight trip in the backcountry with highly trained instructors who spend a lot of their days in the wilderness. We are excited to be offering this as a course, and try to be accomodating to everyone. We ask that you are realistic in the expectations with your child in regards to physical ability, homesickness, and getting alot with other people their age. Olena Nitefor 2025 FI® Live Workshop Part 2 Issues w/ Hips and Knees | The Arlington Center (TAC)

Jun 13, 2025 (UTC-4)
Arlington
Cultural Experiences
Deepen your knowledge and skills with your colleagues with live mentoring and supervision with Olena Nitefor Friday, June 13 - Monday, June 16, 2025. " Olena’s Hips and Knees class was wonderful for me personally, as a participant with a hip replacement, and professionally, as a practitioner. The online portion of the class, delivered over Zoom, offered an interesting progression of ATMs and discussions that coordinated beautifully with the FIs we were watching in between classes. Both the ATMs and FIs built on each other so that by the end of the class, the relationships between the joints from toes to head felt contiguous and accessible in my understanding and my touch. Olena is a very generous and engaging teacher, in the abundance of material presented in class and the additional lessons and videos offered between classes that addressed the needs, interests, and confusions that presented themselves. My FIs are better, my clients are feeling more as I understand more, and my own lingering discomfort in my repaired hip has diminished enormously. I was lucky enough to attend the in person Boston workshop associated with the class which was also fabulous and was a great way to put into practice both what we learned in the online portion and what we saw as Olena worked with a member of the public with some serious challenges post-injury. Very rarely do we get to see a masterful practitioner give a series of lessons and it was extraordinarily useful and inspiring. Having the entire class, both online and in person on video, allows me to keep learning from them which is a great gift." NL, workshop participant The context and themes in this live workshop are built on the Advanced Functional Integration ® series "Working with Experiences Hips and Knee Issues" Part 2 online program that specifically addresses the handling skills needed to execute one's intentions with skill and accuracy. Live FI ® demos will be during the in-person segment and partner exploration study. These will be videotaped and sent to the participants within a month of the live workshop, are included in the fee. It is understood that only participants in the online program are eligible to attend this live training. Agreement It is understood by registering for this workshop, you agree that your participation and involvement will be recorded and shared with other participants. It is too time-consuming to re-edit material to remove a person's presence and creates delays in sending the videos promptly. Location : The Arlington Center, 369 Massachusetts Ave, Arlington, MA.
