Chris Brown is on his way up. After honing his comedic talent in NYC where he started his career he is finaly coming to a city near you. Chris has been in the business for over 10 years and has been featured at the 2018 Motor City Comedy Festival in Detroit as well as the 2019 Peachtree Comedy Festival in Atlanta. Chris has opened up for The Daily Show's Roy Wood Jr. at the Just For Laughs Festival in Toronto. Chris also featured and contributed to The Daily Show with Trevor Noah's segment entitled How to be your own barber . Chris is paid regular at Stand Up NY, Westside Comedy Club NY, Grisley Pear Comedy Club NY, Laughing Skull Comedy Club Atlanta, and Comix Roadhouse CT. Chris recently just recorded his first comedy album entitled I just look like this that is currently being played on Sirius XM Radio. "Timeless Rock Legends" is referred to by thousands of followers as “The Number 1 Multi-Act Tribute Show” in the Northeast. Members of this production have performed at the Golden Nugget Hotel/Casino in Atlantic City for 14 consecutive years entertaining their audiences in "The Showroom Theater," "The Wave," and at the "Deckstock Festival" every second Saturday in August.

NEPA Yoga Festival kicks off summer the weekend on June 13-15th and this year we stacked the schedule with classes and lectures you do not want to miss! This annual festival is held at the beautiful location of Montage Mountain Waterpark, where you are surrounded by nature where you can really tap into your inner Zen and have a mini retreat in the backyard of your own home. This event is the largest yoga event in NEPA with over 150 offerings through the weekend including yoga, meditation, hiking, wellness and inspirational talks, live art, music, social gatherings, a holistic expo with many vendors, and so much more!
Teachers from all over the country will hold classes on the grounds of Montage Mountain Water Park, which remains open throughout the festival so make sure you bring the kids! If yoga is not your thing, rest assured that there will be plenty of opportunities to shop products from our unique vendors and artists, connect with nature through self-guided hikes, meet like-minded people, and participate in overnight camping on the bunny slope. For those interested in dropping in to inspirational talks and observing classes and activities, the spectator pass is for you. For just $25 you’ll gain access to all vendors and speakers.
This family friendly event brings master yogis and novice practitioners together from the tristate area and beyond. Whether you are completely new to yoga or a handstand fanatic, this event truly has something for everyone while supporting a healthy lifestyle that you can take with you after you leave the festival.

Friday Evening will include a hike to the top of the mountain where we will do a class overlooking the valley, there will be food trucks and midland will be open for cocktails and food as well. Vendors will be setting up and campers can pitch their tents.
Saturday night includes camping with live music in the evening and an optional community style dinner with live music. As mentioned above camping is available on our bunny slope for Saturday night and there will be live entertainment from 7-10pm in addition to an optional farm to table buffet style dinner at 7pm on Saturday.
Sunday is a much more chill day for those looking for less people in the classes. but we recommend coming for the whole weekend as the schedule is jam packed!
When checking out don't for get to grab your shirt & your delicious and healthy boxed lunches from Nearme Café best way to avoid the lines and missing a much anticipated class. These lunches come in vegan or vegetarian options to accommodate your dietary needs.
As always, the group intention of NEPA Yoga Festival is “Abundance through Connection”. The founder of this event believes that yoga, wellness, love, and community grow through connected like-minded people. There is no competition when intentions are unitedly shared.

Scranton Civic Ballet Company will premiere the full length classic, Helen Gaus and Robert Zaloga’s The Sleeping Beauty on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at 2pm at The Theater at North. The timeless tale of Princess Aurora will transport you into a world of enchantment and wonder. Tickets go on sale to the public on Monday, March 17, 2024 at 9am. Tickets are $18.50 and can be purchased online at www.thetheateratnorth.org or in person at the box office: Tuesdays 11am-2pm, Wednesdays 11am-2pm, Thursdays 3pm-6pm, and on the day of the show starting at 12noon. Please note: There are 4 cutouts available in the theater to accommodate wheelchairs on the first floor.
