Join the BVRT New Year Explorer Ride (49 km) to kick off the New Year in Linville. This thrilling bike ride explores the best mountain bike trail in the BVRT region. The route combines the BVRT with the Allery Trail and Rohlmann's track, providing a challenging adventure through rutted forestry tracks, gravel roads, some asphalt, and an old historic track with breathtaking views. The ride starts and finishes in the Linville area. Prepare for an exhilarating journey that requires moderate mountain biking skills and fitness. The ride includes a long uphill climb from Linville to Benarkin, as well as some steep climbs and descents. However, the good news is that after reaching Benarkin on the BVRT, it's mostly downhill. Please note that this ride is suitable for mountain bikes and gravel bikes only, including e-MTBs. It's important to bring a basic tool kit, including a puncture repair kit and spare inner tube. Additionally, a basic first aid kit is essential, including a snake bite bandage and knowledge of how to use it.
