Flights London to Warsaw – Everything You Need to Know!

Poland's Warsaw is a fascinating and often-overlooked city, which means it's all the more alluring for curious and adventurous travellers. Let Trip.com run you through everything you need to know before you book yourself a city break to this historic, cultured, and modern city of eastern Europe.

How to Search for Cheap flights from London to Warsaw

How to Buy Cheap Flights London to Warsaw

When you're hunting down cheap flights to anywhere, there are several key factors you'll notice that affect the price of your ticket.

The first of these is the airline you fly with. Some airlines have a reputation for rock-bottom prices (and, often, corresponding levels of service). Others will give you a more comfortable experience, but of course, for a few quid extra.

Another thing to keep in mind is that some low-budget airlines operate from airports quite distant from the city they are named for – in that case, you'll have to budget extra transport costs to and from the airports on your journey.

The second factor is the time of year you fly at. This is common sense – prices rise during the summer holidays and fall to their lowest in the off season.

Finally, always keep an eye on what time of day you can fly at. Flights very early in the morning – or later in the evening – are sometimes offered at a reduced rate.

When Can I Find Cheapest Flight?

With a glance at Trip.com's price chart, which provides us with airfares for flights London to Warsaw over the coming months, you'll see that you can get to Warsaw in September for as little as GBP16.

If you're seeking to fly over the Christmas period, or during the summer months in July and August, you can expect prices of at least GBP90, and sometimes even twice that! So the time of year you travel really does affect the airfare. If you can be flexible and travel during the off season, you'll be able to bag the best price on your flights London to Warsaw.

Sometimes you'll also find that the time of day you fly can also impact the price of the ticket. These are all factors that you need to keep an eye on, especially if you're hunting the cheapest flights London to Warsaw.

Advantages to Take Flights from Different Airports in London

There are a couple things to bear in mind when considering which airport in London to take flights London to Warsaw.

Firstly, time and expense in getting to an airport that is more distant can mitigate any savings you make on a cheaper ticket. London is a huge city, and if you have to travel a great distance to get to your departure airport it can cause a real headache.

Heathrow, of course, is quite easy to get to if you're in central London. But if you're up in the northwest of the city, you might find Luton relatively convenient. You might also find some of the cheapest flights London to Warsaw operate from there!

How to Get to Airports in London

If you're flying from Stansted, then the Stansted Express will take you 50 mins from London Liverpool Street by train.

Luton, on the other hand, doesn't have an express. It will take you 35 mins on train and shuttle bus to get there from London St Pancras Station.

Terminal Information of Airports in London

If your flights London to Warsaw depart from Luton, then the terminal information is simple – there is only a single terminal at Luton Airport.

If you fly into Modlin, the train station is 2 km from the airport. So you need to get a shuttle bus to the station, and then a regional train into Warsaw. Alternatively, you can take the Modlinbus, which connects with Ryanair flights. It will drop you at Metro Mlociny, Metro Centrum, and and Plac Defilad. It takes 45 mins in total.
