Temple of Heaven: Tickets & Guide

The Temple of Heaven is a famous historic site in Beijing. It was used by emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties to pray to the heavens, ask for rain, and hope for a good harvest. The Temple is split into two main areas: the Inner Altar and the Outer Altar. In the Inner Altar, you can see well-known buildings like the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest and the Echo Wall. Visitors can watch how ancient emperors performed grand ceremonies and admire clever designs such as the Echo Wall and the Triple Sound Stones. The skill and creativity of the craftsmen are truly impressive.
