The attractions and performances based on famous IPs are impressive. Recently, collaborations with famous anime (Conan, Jujutsu Kaisen, etc.) have also made it fun for children. However, you may be surprised by the prices for food, snacks, and souvenirs. Nintendo is the most popular attraction, so you'll have to wait at least two and a half hours for just one Nintendo attraction. Because the wait is so long, it's a good idea to just take photos and then go on to other attractions. Or, you can buy an Express Pass... Still, the performances and videos are fun and enjoyable. If you're visiting with young children or kindergarteners, focusing on the performances rather than the attractions will still be enjoyable. I highly recommend installing the Universal Japan app, which allows you to check attraction, show, and parade schedules.

A great value pass if you're planning to actively explore Osaka's sights in one day. This pass not only gives you unlimited subway and public transportation, but also free entry to several museums, observation decks, and other attractions (like Osaka Castle, Umeda Sky, and more). This makes it easy to save money if you plan your itinerary in advance. Be sure to check the opening hours of the attractions included with the pass, as many close early. We visited the castle, tower, museums, took a boat ride, climbed observation decks, and much more in one day. This pass also allows skip-the-line entry to Osaka Castle—it works like a fast pass.
