The Osaka Amazing Pass is truly a must-buy for tourists visiting Osaka. I recommend buying a 2-day pass. The morning it's Osaka Castle (4 sites), the afternoon it's Tsutenkaku Tower, and the evening it's the Dotonbori cruise. The second day is the Umeda Sky Building and art museum, and the afternoon it's Tenjinsuji. The unlimited subway food is practically a bonus; you can easily get your money's worth just by doing whatever you want.

This Osaka Metro Pass is incredibly convenient, perfect for travelers with limited time to explore the city. It covers most popular attractions, and multiple rides within a day easily break even, making it excellent value. Using it is also simple; you can just scan the QR code to enter, saving time on ticket purchases. Combined with bus fares, it offers greater flexibility in travel planning, making it especially user-friendly for first-time visitors to Osaka. Note that it doesn't cover some private railway lines, so plan your route in advance, but overall, the impact is minimal. Overall, I highly recommend it; it's convenient and practical, and I would consider buying it again.

The moment you embark on your journey, you step into a life laboratory filled with random surprises. You never know what unexpected heartwarming scene you'll encounter around the next corner. Perhaps it's the rich, sweet aroma of malt wafting from the depths of an alley, mingling with the scent of old bookmarks from a nearby shop, weaving a soft net in the air. Or perhaps it's the vibrant, fiery red rose hips growing casually in the corner, their round berries glistening with the tiny dewdrops left from last night. Or perhaps it's the melody hummed by a stranger playing the harmonica by the roadside that happens to strike the softest corner of your heart, the rhythm of the music inexplicably resonating with your long-hidden secrets. There's no destination you have to reach on time, no to-do list you have to complete. You can stand on the street and daydream for half an hour, watching the crowds hurry by, each carrying their own story. Or you can casually slip into an unassuming film developing shop and listen to the owner recount the old times intertwined with the shop. These unexpected moments slowly fill the gaps in your heart, gradually dispelling the worries accumulated over the years.

I got up early to go to the local morning market. Just as dawn was breaking, the stalls were already packed full of locally grown vegetables and homemade snacks—freshness you could see. The greens were glistening with dew and still had a bit of soil on them; the fish were still wriggling in their basins; the handmade noodles were steaming hot; the air was filled with the aroma of food—so vibrant and lively compared to a fancy department store. Following the locals, I picked out some ingredients, learned a few phrases in the local dialect, and the older vendors might even give me an extra bunch of scallions. After selecting a bunch of fresh ingredients, I bought a bowl of savory porridge from a roadside stall, paired with a salted egg I'd just bought—the perfect breakfast. After a stroll through the market, my hands were full of purchases, and my heart was warmed. This kind of lively, down-to-earth morning market is truly one of the most delightful surprises of travel.

Around the Autumn Equinox, we went chestnut picking in the mountains. The chestnut trees grew in sparse forests, and the ripe chestnuts would crack open and fall to the ground on their own. Wearing thick gloves, we searched for the fallen chestnuts under the trees. Peeling back the spiky shell revealed plump, round, and adorable chestnut kernels. The mountain breeze was cool, and the air was filled with the fresh scent of leaves. Walking on the soft, fluffy ground, we searched and picked, like a treasure hunt, and soon we had a small bag full. After picking the chestnuts, we gave them to a farmer at the foot of the mountain, who steamed them for us. Peeling them revealed golden chestnut kernels, sweet and powdery, incredibly delicious—even better than the roasted chestnuts sold in the market. We returned home laden with our chestnuts, even the wind on the road carrying the aroma of chestnuts. The joy of picking chestnuts in the mountains was truly unforgettable.

Overall, a good experience with nice view of the river and the city. The waiting for the elevator was a bit long. There was less people lining up after 1 p.m. there was a small cafeteria upstairs to get coffee, drinks, beers, small snacks. Quality of the food was ok
