I went to Osaka USJ with my wife about 18 years ago, and then with my middle school kids in mid-October 2025. I still remember how much fun I had at USJ back then, so I wanted to make some more memories with my kids. We purchased general admission tickets and entered around 9:00 AM on Friday, October 17th, and left around 8:00 PM. The attractions we enjoyed in this order are: Detective Conan 4D - The Flying Dinosaur - Nintendo World Mario Kart - Jaws - Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey / Hippogriff - Resident Evil - Halloween Horror Nights We had so much fun that we lost track of time. I'm so glad we came, as we made so many wonderful memories with the kids. I'd love to come again if I get the chance. ^^

It's very convenient to buy and use immediately. Universal Studios Japan is one of the must-visit places in Osaka. The park staff are friendly and polite. The 1.5-day pass allows you to have a great time and you won't want to leave.

It was simply incredibly magical, one of the best days ever! Universal Studios captivated me with its festive atmosphere. The park offers entertainment for both children and adults. I was only interested in the "adult" attractions, and although I might consider myself a seasoned visitor, I was delighted and was continually amazed from morning until late evening. The park has thrilling roller coasters and 4D rides, which are...also breathtaking! There are haunted houses and, conversely, non-scary but beautiful performances. I arrived during the Halloween activities; in the evening, the park transformed into a haven for various monsters, which was truly spectacular. As a Harry Potter fan, I spent a lot of time in the Hogwarts area. In the morning, there are fewer people, and you can try both attractions without waiting in line. In the evening, there is a show with the Death Eaters and a light show at the castle. The food in the park is varied and not as expensive as you might expect (2,000 yen per person per day will keep you full and satisfied).
