A lovely hotel, across from river moorings, and in a peaceful setting. The Staff were very helpful, even carrying my case up the quirky staircase.The room was clean, with good decor, and facilities. The en-suite had a bath and shower, which was a bonus. The only downside was limited plug sockets, but it was a minor issue. The hotel itself is welcoming, with some low doorways and corridors, adding to the original features. And despite a mix of old/new decor as they continue to make improvements, it had a very relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was lovely, well-cooked with lots of flavour (great bacon and sausage!) We didn't use the bar, outdoor seating or garden, but the Kids Play area looked fun!

Harvest Hide-away is a stunning, light, airy new home with a private, 6 person hot tub in an enclosed garden. Located in Rollesby, a peaceful, Broads village, it is a 7 min stroll to our local farm shop, with a fantastic selection of locally sourced goodies, superb veggies and eggs from the hens you see wandering around as you enter, & a 10 min drive to hire a day boat or launch a kayak on the Norfolk Broads at Thurne or Potter Heigham.The seaside is within easy reach with an abundance of beautiful beaches, most dog friendly & no restrictions; the nearest a 10-minute drive. Our favourite is Winterton which hosts the best Fish & Chip shop.The space:Downstairs you'll enjoy our spacious, well-equipped kitchen with all the appliances you'll need to create your own meals or enjoy a take out from our nearby superb Indian takeaway, 'Planet Spice'. We supply herbs, spices, oil, ketchup, some coffee, tea and sugar to get you started.Glass doors lead to a light, airy living room with a corner sofa, armchair and large oak table which seats 6 or even 8, there is plenty of room for board games or a jigsaw (found inside our coffee table). Our smart TV is wall mounted and 55 inches; you can use our Netflix, Amazon and iPlayer account or sign in to your own.French doors lead to a large, enclosed garden - perfect for four legged friends. With a large, 6 person hot tub to luxuriate in, outdoor seating, patio area and BBQ this is the perfect space for watching the sun go down and the stars come out.There is very little light pollution so on a clear night the sky is amazing. We have even captured photos of the Northern Lights.Upstairs, you'll find our master bedroom, with ensuite & rainfall shower, which has a roomy euro kingsize bed. The second bedroom has a comfy double and the third, a day bed, which can be made up as a double or two singles: your choice. There are 2 pillows per person and spare in the wardrobes so you can find one to your preference. The Master and third bedroom both have blackout blinds. Oak View Loft is a luxury hideout situated only a five minute drive from the beautiful beaches of Sea Palling and 10 minutes from the nearest broad at Stalham. The self-catering property is within the grounds of our home, Stone House Farm with ample parking and can sleep up to four people. All guests have access to the 10 acres of grounds which include delightful woodland areas where you can relax and hear the distant roar of the sea, experience bird life or if you are lucky you may stumble upon a number of species of deer.The loft accommodation includes a fully-fitted kitchen with gas hob, grill, oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, and dishwasher; open-plan bedroom/living room with a king size bed, television, dvd player plus a separate twin bedroom and a shower room. There is a separate cloak room off the ground floor entrance lobby. Close to broadland villages offering boat hire or Hemsby and Great Yarmouth for more lively entertainment for all the family.Admiral Cottage & its sister cottages, Compass Cottage and Beachside Cottage are all in the heart of Winterton on Sea old village and are within a short walk of the beach, pub & shop. Pets are welcome at no charge. Set in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, Winterton on Sea offers a base to explore wildlife, is ideal for cyclists and walkers, and is well situated for visits to many historical sites including National Trust and privately owned estates.
