Providing comfortable accommodation for up to four [4] guests, Walshford Lodge is a characterful, pet friendly cottage with superb country walks on the doorstep. Take a leisurely drive and explore a truly fascinating, historic area of Yorkshire; take a drive with your bike and cycle the challenging Tour de Yorkshire Dales routes; or simply take time out, relax, and enjoy the peace and quiet of this special rural escape.The property’s master bedroom has a king-sized bed - which can be split into twins as required – plus a second, double-bedded room. There is a well-equipped kitchen/diner with a fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave and full-sized oven. The hotel is very picturesque and traditional. I attended a family wedding and the food and service was exceptional. Breakfast was ample and served in a beautiful room. Our room was a twin and quite functional, but the bathroom could perhaps do with a little tlc. I was disappointed that we couldn’t use the spa - because we didn’t know we had to pre-book, and unfortunately it was fully subscribed. I would stay here again and it was good value for money.

Castle Cottage is located in the heart of the beautiful village of Spofforth. Our little Gem is only a 10 minute drive away from Harrogate and a few minutes from Wetherby. We have the wonderful Castle Inn pub a stones throw away. We also have Spofforth Castle ruin run by English Heritage. Spofforth Golf course for a quick round. Miles and miles of walking spots from the doorstep. There is a regular bus service to Harrogate, Wetherby and Leeds. The local train station is about a 10min drive away. The cottage comprises of a front cottage garden with table and seating. To the rear we have a secure garden for small dogs and seating.Inside the property is a lounge / dining area, separate kitchen.
