A beautiful building, atmospheric and old, with a great vioew of Loch Ness - really has to be the best. The hotel is a looking a little old and tired. The 4 poster suite is the best in the hotel, but neeeds and upgrade. The food also needs a total makeover. Verdict: a lovely hotel that needs major investment and upgrade. Book through a travel website, as the hotel's own rates are too high.

Geographical location: It is close to the bus station than the train station, but if you go from the train station, you can find a store along the road for dinner before staying. Near Bangor University. 2. Room facilities: There are beds, separate bathrooms (washing supplies are pretty good), hair dryers, irons, sockets, a table and chairs... there are some. WiFi signal is not bad. Meals: Breakfast is very recommended, there are not many types but basically everything you can think of. There is also a coffee shop. 4. Staff: The counter staff was kind and the restaurant staff were very helpful

It was late arrival, but the reception was kind. The view of the sea from the room was great and the optional breakfast was delicious. The bad thing was that the electric kettle and coffee cups in the room were left unused by someone and the lighting in the room was broken and not turned off.
