The supposed burial place of Bishop Lazarus himself, here you’ll discover four beautiful domes, a golden pulpit, ornate Baroque woodcarving, and the spooky underground tomb of Lazarus. Just across the courtyard, you’ll find the Byzantine Museum which will help visitors better understand the history and religious importance of this unique site.

Larnaca Fort: Built in the 14th century, this imposing Ottoman-era fort was used as the main line of defence for the city. From the top you’ll find wonderful views across the Mediterranean and to the city behind you. Across the road you’ll also find Larnaca’s Grand Mosque which dates from the 16th century. It’s worth checking out the ornate gravestones in the mosque’s small cemetery.
