I recently stayed at the Premier Inn, Aberystwyth. The hotel was perfect for my needs. Friendly, clean, good food. I will have no hesitation going back.

We found the hotel to be above our expectations, as a heatwave was going through the aircon was very welcoming The parking was easily accessible as was the entrance to the hotel. All in all would highly recommend.

Lovely situation on the prom, outside appearance was poor and dated but inside was brilliant, great clean, modern decor, comfy spacious rooms and easy access.

Good clean room. Good breakfast. The welcome we received was luke warm from male staff member. We arrived 25 minutes early after 4.5 hrs drive and couldn’t have the room until 3pm. There was a family with 2 young children who arrived at the same time and told they would have to pay an early check in fee if they wanted the room 25 minutes early. I would understand if they were trying to check in at 10am but they were wanting to check in at 2.35pm. This appears to be profit taking priority over customer care, and not what we’ve experienced at other Premier Inns previously. We counted 4 abandoned cars in the car park. One was a Tesla with a flat tyre and sound of a fan constantly on. Clearly there was an issue with the car so we parked as far away as possible in case of risk of lithium battery fire. The fan was going the whole time we were there.

Pros - we booked a sea view room view was lovely, room reasonably sized with modern bathroom and aircon. Quiet despite road outside. Right on Aber centre so we didn’t eat in hotel. Cons - looks a bit scruffy outside, flaking paint on woodwork. Parking at guest rate still expensive (although slightly cheaper than long stay car park). Minor points and we would book again.

We had a very poor experience considering the really high cost of the stay here compared with other Premier Inns we've stayed in. Whilst our bedroom was clean, it had no chair, so we had to sit on the bed, and the fan in the bathroom didn't work. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, but whilst the breakfast was Ok the dinner was very poor. There was a lot of menu items not available and the quality of what was available was not very appealing. We stayed on a Saturday evening and arrived by late afternoon, but by that time the car park was full. The only parking available was on street, so had to drive around to find a space the closest we could get. The experience of staying in a Premier Inn is notmally very good for the price, but I could not recommend this one in Aberystwyth.

Parking can be an issue, entrance to reception is around the back & not at the front where you would normally expect it, paid for one of the more expensive rooms & even though it was very clean i don’t think it’s worth the difference from a standard room & apart from the mini fridge you get there’s only two little bottles of water in there, we opted for a cooked breakfast which is self serving but to my liking everything is undercooked, but I’m sure if you would ask the chef I’m sure they would have accommodated your needs, I wouldn’t stay here again unless they reduced their prices drastically or even gave you a sea view with been in the more expensive room instead of a building site out the back. Overall pretty disappointing.

The staff at this hotel were all very helpful, nice and pleasant. However I do not feel it is is a hotel for families or couples. Most of the occupants appeared to be contract workers, which is fine, but I think they need to reign in their bad language in public areas. We had a meal in the restaurant and throughout we had to listen to a lot of bad language as they all discussed their particular football teams, very loudly. There seemed to be a complete lack of any draught beers etc., or even soft drinks such as soda on tap, making it very expensive to have a mixer. Our room was fine with a nice sea view, although it did not appear to be as clean as other Premier Inns we have stopped in. The car park was a nightmare to get into because of the one way system, it might be a good idea to put instructions on the paperwork, making it a little easier for guests to find.

I need accomodation for a overnight stop, and the Premier Inn came up as a option within the budget, located 5 min walk from the Railway station its ideal. The Hotel is right on the seafront and has some amazing views. Checkin was quick and easy and my room wa son the 3rd floor overlooking the carpark. Standard of the room was good very clean and fresh smelling. The bathroom had a bath which can be a bonus sometimes but was very spacious. As part of my booking i added the meal deal which can be used in the resturant on the lowe floor. Excellent sleep the bed was nice and comfortable and the air con wasnt too noisy! Breakfast was a buffer style and plenty on offer for everyone. The staff are very freindly and seemed to be always around to help if you had a question. Lovely location right on the seafront, shame i didnt have longer to explore the town and surrounding areas. I would stay again as its a nice Hotel
