The Villas at Bahia del Duque

"We recently stayed here in Villa 11. This is the most beautiful place we have visited in a long while. Even though we have been to Costa Adeje many times we had never stayed here before. We would highly recommend, it is just an amazing resort. The villa was very private, very comfortable and the best beds and pillows you could ever wish for. We snacks delivered on an afternoon, which I must say was a lovely touch and the food in the restaurants is excellent and the choice is vast. Breakfast at the villas was wonderful, anything you wanted they would cook, thank you. The resort is huge and so beautifully kept and the buggies are a godsend for getting around. Save the best for last, the staff, they cannot do enough for you and are just such lovely people, they really make a difference to your stay. Fingers crossed we will be back again as soon as we can. Thank you all for a wonderful holiday."

"Facilities were part of the massive hotel Anthelia. Not a bad hotel but far too big and cheap plastic type sunbeds not usual in 5 star hotels. Pool service none existent at Joia Annex. You have to go into the Anthelia before going into the Joia Salome. Bedrooms excellent though."

"On our last day and it’s been a great holiday . Lovely hotel with perfect position for the beach , shops and restaurants. All staff have helpful and super friendly . We will definitely consider this hotel next time we visit Tenerife"

"Arrived late at night the room was not as advertised with jet2 we spoke to reception and as it was midnight we had to come back the next day as we were told no rooms however we found out later that there was rooms. The lady under the reception desk Tuesday morning was rude evidence and sarcastic towards us. Reception lady give us a key looked at another room when we walked in we found it was somebody else’s room so we walked straight out and informed reception about this. They told us that it was the wrong room they showed us and it was the next doorThis whole holiday has been a nightmare and is still in going. We arrived in our room, which was the second room found the air con dripping with water this was after we had unpacked and went down to the pool. Jet2 have been informed the while time. Other incidents happened, too. Jet 2 asked them to upgrade us which they did to a suite however the next day when we wanted to use the. Jacuzzi we couldn’t as it was not working. Workmen came up to look at it said it couldn’t be fixed. it is now Friday we have come back to find Workman in our room and been told they would be 2 hours fixing it this is at 5pm. New told them to leave our room. We have moved three times. We haven’t been able to relax or enjoy our holiday. This is just this a small part of what has happened in this hotel just stay clear save your money and go elsewhere.."

"The hotel is too old, and it's full of elderly people, who don't seem to be very wealthy. They're having a lot of activities by the pool at night, which is very noisy."

"As you can see from my previous reviews, Tenerife is a place I've been visiting often lately. After trying several hotels in the Playa de Fañabé area, I have to admit that this one has been the best so far in terms of value for money. The property has been recently renovated and is modern, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of high-quality options, and the staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to help. It’s in a perfect location, just a short walk from the beach. This stay didn't make us regret our previous experiences at all—we will definitely be back"

"The hotel is large in size and does not have its own parking lot, but it can be found next to it. The rooms are basically townhouses with stacked villas, which are a house with four households up and down, so it is far from the hotel lobby to the room."

"Second time at this hotel adults only. First thing that hits you is the friendliness of staff. Feels like you’ve come to a much smaller family home. Food has improved over the past year and if you like fresh fish and seafood particularly Wednesday and Thursday then you’re in for a treat. Always cleaning hotel is spotless. Visit La Caleta 20 min walk up the coast. There is a lack of bars for a drink, but if you go left back towards Del duque area couple down there nice and chilled. All in all lovely place and we will return. Special mention in the bar area for Wilson Franco and Salvo. Andrew and Ivan on reception and Joaquim in the restaurant all a credit to this hotel."

"The receptionist literally cut me off while I was explaining and just shouted “Listen!” at me — super rude.We didn’t have any drinking water in the room for two days, only expensive bottled ones for sale. Honestly, that just feels a bit aggressive.When we asked if the snacks were chargeable, she snapped back like, “Isn’t that just common sense?”There was zero sense of service or respect, and honestly, it even felt like we were being treated differently."

"Just returned from our third stay at Colon Guanahani and as always had a fantastic time. The location is excellent. We enjoy the adults only experience and love the peaceful and relaxing rooftop pool area, no sunbed wars here. Every area of tbe hotel is immaculately clean. The rooms are cleaned daily to an exceptionally high standard. The welcome gift of fizz is a nice touch as is a bottle of water everyday. We always stay B&B, the choice at breakfast is amazing, tasty omelettes cooked to order were fabulous ! The staff are this hotel's greatest asset ! Without exception they are all very friendly, helpful and professional at all times, always have time for a chat. This hotel is great value. I am already loomi g forward to returning next year"
