"Travelled here as a solo traveller and have to say I felt very safe. I was also treated exactly the same as everyone else; sometimes solo travellers can be made to feel uneasy asking for a table for one or sitting at sun loungers with a spare one next to it. Rooms were great on the whole. Comfortable and great bedding. It felt clean but there were little things that could’ve been improved such as blood stain on the wall and dust on skirting boards. I was upgraded from a suite to a gold level suite because they’d sold out. They told me that I wouldn’t be entitled to use gold facilities which i understand but equally if I were the manager I would give access to the gold level pool. The standouts were location - easy access to beach, walks and restaurants; Matias the lifeguard who went above and beyond every day; and food at breakfast choice was vast and so fresh, excellent."

"We stayed at PlayaOlid Suites & Apartments as a family of four, and we had a very pleasant experience. The location was excellent, with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and bars, and it was not too far from the beach, which made getting around very convenient. The food at the hotel was very good, and the staff were consistently helpful and pleasant throughout our stay. Our room was a little dated, but it was very clean, spacious, and comfortable for our family. Overall, we felt the hotel was better than a typical 3-star property and offered great value for money."

"We didnt have a good experience in this hotel. First they charged us 36€ for twin beds when on the booking it was indicated the rate was for a double or twin bed. Also you need to pay for everything in the hotel, even the pool towels have a deposit, the safe in the room is expensive and you also have to leave a deposit for its key. The facilities such as sauna is also not free. Wifi does not work even at reception they are not able to activate it. Service is terrible and room is dirty even after asking 3 times to clean the floor. Not at the standard of a 4-star hotel and way too expensive for the service provided. Overall not a relaxing stay. Swimming pools are not heated, it didnt bother us but just fyi."

"We stayed at GF Isabel in an apartment and overall had a really nice stay. The location is great – easy to walk to shops, restaurants and the beach, which made everything very convenient. The hotel has a lovely family-friendly atmosphere, and there were activities and entertainment for kids, which my daughter really enjoyed. The evening shows were actually really good – much better than we expected – and it was nice to have something to do after dinner without needing to go out. The apartment itself was a good size and practical for a family, although the decor is a little dated in places. That said, everything was clean and worked well. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. After we checked out, we realised we had left a water bottle behind. When we went back to ask, one of the ladies at the hotel was really kind and helped us find it and return it to us, which we really appreciated. Overall, a great choice for families and we would happily stay here again."

"🌟 Hotel GF Victoria really surprised me! It's not a big-name brand, but the facilities are super new. It has two pools; one features a children's water park where you can let the kids loose. There's also a surf simulator, but you need to book it at the front desk. For lunch, you can order food right by the pool. This place is way cheaper than the Ritz-Carlton, but offers amazing value for money. There's also a rooftop bar with a trendy glass-bottom pool, but we couldn't go because our child was too young!"
