I spent two weeks there. I went to Aitutaki mainly to swim with whales and the Sunset provided a great place to explore the island and was easy to get to the harbor. The cottage was recently remodeled with new appliances, kitchen and bathroom. Great WiFi, great sunsets and quite place to relax. Owners were friendly and rented me a bike and then a scooter at a reasonable cost. Highly recommended!

Arguably the best location in Aitutaki especially if you value a little privacy. Our second stay at the property in 5 years. You can roll out of bed onto the beach. Great snorkelling. The service is lackadaisical and maintenance is haphazard. "Dieing a death by a thousnad cuts"! Some powerpoints don't work, shower hose leaks badly, toilet seat is loose, water supply intermitent (may be council supply issue?), bedroom door coming off the hinges, lights burnt out and fridge leaks onto kitchen tile floor. Just a litany of little things. With a little TLC it would be outstanding.
