The front desk of the hotel is very good. We booked a one-room room. Because we saw two adults and two children when we checked in, we changed it to a one-room room with two sofa beds. The location of the hotel is very good, only five minutes walk to the old town. The hotel has a washing machine, which is perfect for changing clothes during travel.

Check-in and check-out times on the site did not correspond to reality ... I was forced to wait 3 quarters of hours 😱😰
I paid the stay fee ... while on the site, there are included taxes 😰😱
Otherwise, this rent is of good quality/price ratio... 😁🤪

One of the most unforgettable experience in my life! The hotel is beautiful situated! Our room is modern and clean! I enjoyed having a stroll in the beautiful garden! It was amazing to have wine tasting and Michelin starred dinner in the hotel. The entire experience was exclusive! I enjoyed staying in this chateau hotel with my husband. It’s one of the highlights in our honeymoon trip.

It is not a hotel but an aparthotel-type residence and there was no room cleaning service. When I went to ask they told me that cleaning was only done every 4 days and since we were 3, no one did the room or the bathroom during our stay. They offered me cleaning products so I could clean it myself. I was stunned. They didn't even have a bottle of cold water and it was very hot. The receptionists are very unprofessional. The breakfast was very complete but there was no toaster. I do not recommend at all. And they say they have 4 stars.
Enjoy the south of France by stopping off in our 3-star Hotel Kyriad Résidence Cabries – Plan de Campagne. Ideally located at the midway point between Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, the hotel welcomes you all year round, at the heart of the pine forests of Provence. Fully air-conditioned, it is equipped with a free private parking lot and a sauna.

A one night stop at this Kyriad hotel which was in a convenient location as I had to drive to Marseille airport the following morning. An easy smooth check in and I was made to feel very welcome. The room was spacious and comfortable and included a table, kitchen, and a safe deposit box. There was no evening meal when I was there but there is a large commercial centre which I drove to and there are plenty of eating options there. There is secure gated parking at the hotel.
Sheltered from the world in the countryside near Aix this former sheepfold restored in the Provencal tradition is a gourmet stop with rooms respecting the spirit of the place. The rooms hidden by the pine forest each of them with a private terrace where guest can relax and direct access to the three-hectare park and swimming pool. The bergerie is a popular meeting for its local cuisine creative and flavored with herbs from the Mas which is served by the fireplace under the old beams and the beautiful days outside on the terrace with a panoramic view of the Aix countryside for a lunch or dinner of cicadas songs.

GGuest UserIt's very good. It's worth recommending. It's very good. My friends like it very much. Next time, I'll take my family to check in. Breakfast is rich, transportation is convenient, and the couple's attitude is also very good.
Ccet7A very beautiful hotel with a very convenient location. It is in the alley diagonally opposite the Aix bus terminal. From there, there are direct shuttle buses to the airport and Marseille. The room facilities are also very complete, the swimming pool is clean, and the service is very good
Jjohn_tillettWe stayed for three nights. Overall, we don’t feel that Le Pigonnet should currently be open. It is our impression that the staff agree. The hotel is currently communicating to guests that the late arrival of building materials accounts for the extent of current building works. We find this hard to believe- months after re-opening, the ongoing works are very extensive. The hotel seems many many months away from finishing building works as of July 2024. Esprit de France is a large hospitality company, and this hotel is one of their flagship properties. We feel they are showing disregard for their guests (and employees) by remaining open. We feel this decision was likely made by a corporate entity with little empathy for the guests, or employees. I want to paint a picture of the state of the hotel: - The main hotel building and restaurant are empty shells- there is literally no floor, plumbing, or electricity. There are no windows or doors (though these were being installed in front of breakfasting guests during our stay) - There is nowhere indoors for breakfast. When we enquired where breakfast would be moved if it rained during service (and it did, though only lightly), we were met with a shrug. We imagine it is the same for lunch and dinner. - There are no indoor spaces/lounges/bar areas for anyone arriving early prior to check-in or for someone who simply wants to sit - The hotel “office/reception” has a single toilet and vanity for staff and guests - To hide the building works the hotel has invested in what would be tens of thousands of dollars of potted plants. They are still in plastic tubs, and blow over in inclement weather (literally onto guests during our first breakfast). Some have died and not been moved. - During outdoor breakfast service, there were multiple tradespeople visible literally feet from guests. There was drilling and hammering. This was on a Saturday and Sunday (after being told no building works would take place on the weekend). Breakfast was (in spite of earnest staff) such a comedy that we were entertained. - Guest Wifi regularly drops out entirely (why renovation would effect this is a mystery) We were initially accommodated in a room in a separate villa from the main hotel. This was thehe worst rooms we have ever stayed in (arriving at 1am we felt unable to complain to the pleasant night porter). We could hear when the person staying in the room above us was going to the toilet. This was not only because every shoeless footstep was clearly audible, but also because the unclad drainage pipe ran straight through our dressing room. Every drop of liquid from the room above could be heard tinkling through the pipes. The floor was so dusty that our feet were brown from stepping to the toilet. The bath and shower area stank (and there was no toilet in this space). This space, which does not seem to be under renovation (comical really given the rest of the property is) should be closed. Thank goodness the hotel
RRick SipesThe hotel is a good choice for budgetminded travelers but it is somewhat distant from the center of the city. It took about a half hour to walk to the rotonde, which is the center of Aix. However, along the way to the rotonde are plenty of cafes, shops selling food, wine and bread. The route is pretty direct and leads directly to Cours Mirabeau, the main thoroughfare of Aix, You can take a taxi from the rotonde to the hotel for 8 Euros. Breakfast provided a nice selection of European breakfast choices and you could dine on the outside terrace on the days that it was open. The hotel didn't have laundry facilities, but there is a pressing service(dry cleaner) a short walk from the hotel on Gambetta that will do laundry. My personal biggest negative was that you have to climb a steep driveway and then some stairs to reach the entrance to the hotel. Although you can bypass the stairs by entering through the garage and taking a lift to the main floor, you still have to walk to reception at the entrance. If you're carrying luggage, either way it's a trek. I'm in my eighties, so at the end of a day of walking, climbing the hill was a chore. All in all not a bad choice.
Unexpectedly nice! We came to this hotel for one night because it's near the TGV station and we'd been unable to get into our hotel in Aix's old town until next day... This hotel turned out to have really comfortable well decorated modern rooms, excellent helpful staff and very generous extras: such as unlimited free mineral water and croissants in the hall, and free beer for anyone who didn't want to watch the rugby world cup in the restaurant/bar. (I should add that the hotel was quiet and so were the guests). A real effort has been made with the small landscaped garden and play areas, the swimming pool was clean and pleasant even though it was the end of the season, and the outlook very green over the golf course. The breakfast was absolutely the best I have ever had in France, with real French cheeses instead of the usual processed stuff, and fresh fruit and proper patisseries as well as eggs (and the meat was doubtless good too). The location was the main flaw for guests like us wishing to avoid using a car. It is a short taxi ride from the TGV station, but a half-hour bus journey to Aix proper through anodyne business areas. The other flaw - which wouldn't affect the sports fans or young families with cars who seem to be the usual guests - was the incredibly tiny bath. Sadly I fell trying to get out of that bath and am still dealing with the injury. I must add that we had come back again at very short notice for one further night, and again the staff were excellent and so was the room in all other respects...I should have used the shower that night instead!
This hotel is very nice if you have a car to get around. Free Parking. Bedrooms fine and quiet. Good outside grounds. Reception staff all helpful. Breakfast I thought was good. Especially liked you can juice your own oranges in the morning and fresh fruit salad not tinned.
Perfect for our needs, Driving from Nice to Toulouse needed a place to spent the night. IBIS was just off the Expressway pulled in without a reservation. Reception clerk was so welcoming and accomdating, the late dinner was wonderful, and the room was very comfortable. Like I said perfect or my needs. recommend it highly
A charming hotel in the centre of Aix-en-Provence run by owner Viktor and his staff. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel very welcome. The bedrooms are very clean as were the huge bathrooms. There is a comfortable sitting room with a bar. Breakfast is served outside in an attractive garden. Breakfast itself consisted of tea/coffee/chocolate/juice and a basket of various croissants jams and yoghurt. Highly recommended this hotel and we will return. Ann John and family.
The location in a forested undeveloped area is great. Good location if you want to walk in the ”forest” or is a visitor at CEREGE, which is a 15 min walk away through the ”forest”. Rooms are very standard, but everything worked and the bathroom was nice and spacious. Staff was kind. Breakfast was good and the shared facilities are attractive. However, I am not satisfied with the booking experience: There are way too many options available and the difference between them is not clear. I booked a nonreimbursable B&B rate which was a bit cheaper on the booking page, but ended up being charged the full list price with breakfast billed separately. So ”B&B” does not mean bed and breakfast here. I pointed this out afterwards by e-mail, and have had no reply from the hotel at this time (2-3 days later).
SSiyuanThe hotel is not bad. We were forced to live in Aix because Marseille was holding a rugby match at the time, and one room was difficult to find. Fortunately, the traffic between Marseille and Aix is very convenient. This hotel is a bit difficult to find and the whole is very clean.
