"Couple with dog. For two nights we didn't have hot water. We rang reception an spoke to the duty manager - the second time...He told us it was because there was a coach load of people staying who had all taken a shower/bath at the same time on their return, and we would have to wait until it heated up again. That didn't allow for the lack of pressure - a trickle! In the end we gave up - no shower/bath. However, the duty manager assured us that the manager would find us the next morning.... this never happened, On the Saturday night the same thing happened. The excuse given by the receptionist for the manager not having found us that morning was there was a wedding and all managers were needed - they didn't start their shift until 11am. The duty manager couldn't speak to us as he was working at the wedding - Saturday night - but Leanne assured us that she had noted our complaint and that she had written up notes, and our inconvenience (now not having hot water for two nights of a three night stay) would be reflected in our invoice on checking out. This wasn't the point. The stay was supposed to be a relaxing, super special treat, not able to have a shower or a bath at night was NOT okay! She assured us that on the third night the 'tour' party and 'wedding party' would have left. So we would have hot water. Which we did. On checking out the receptionist had no idea about our complaint, and therefore couldn't help us. We are in the process of writing a compliant, and a review. The staff and hotel did not let you down - the management did! I have a video of the water pressure. On another point, the hotel is described as dog friendly. This might be the case. You can bring your dog for a fee of £25 a night, however, on check in we were told we had to eat in the bar area or outside. Luckily the weather was okay. However, we felt like second class citizens! Not only that but the bar area has no tables at which anyone could eat a meal - the tables are all low and only fit for snacks!"

"Once again enjoyable overnight stay. As always lovely greeting from Katy on reception. Quick and efficient check in. Our room always clean and fresh with tea ,coffee and milk available. Any extra needed, available at reception. Handy mcDonalds adjacent. Once again well done to housekeeping , Katy and checkout staff."

"I and a group of friends recently stayed at the Kings Court Hotel for one night midweek. The hotel is well placed to visit Stratford upon Avon and the Cotswolds. Our rooms were well appointed and all said that they had a good nights sleep, given that it was a very quiet rural area.Whilst we stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, we also had an evening meal in the hotels restaurant and the group all commented on how good the food was . A special mention too, for the hotel staff, who were both very helpful and courteous."
