"The village, Aljubarrota, is itself of great historical interest. It is around 10 minutes to Alcobaca. We found the area to be very pleasant. As for the Casa da Padeira itself, the quality of service and comfort was extremely good. For example, the breakfast was excellent, as were the rooms and the immediate surroundings of the Casa. I should add that we were given a list of suggested restaurants in the vicinity which turned out to be quite useful. In all, this was a surprising, very worthwhile visit."

"From our room View was lovely as we paid extra to have a sea view. Inez was very prompt at solving a little lightbulb issue. Overall the whole hotel is looking very shabby…..tired. The breakfast was quite basic, although there was a small amount of fresh fruit & fresh yogurt every morning, and the bread was great. Possibly just better lighting in the area where breakfast is served would be good. The member of staff who checked us in, and dealt with breakfast every morning could possibly do with a bit of guidance about working in hospitality."

"Worst park in Europe, nothing but 💩💩 between the bungalows, clogged septic tanks, they dump the sewage under the bungalows, I even took photos and videos, the reception was the worst ever, the receptionist, a lady from Brazil who doesn't have the temperament to be a receptionist, treats us badly, they don't return the deposit, they make up excuses not to return it, mattresses full of urine stains, mosquitoes everywhere, we couldn't even sleep, the boss was always yelling and lying on the reception sofa, I heard the employees saying that he doesn't pay salaries among other things.... I DO NOT RECOMMEND"
