Just got back from a night stay at the hotel. Monique and Douglas were excellent with making sure our check in process was smooth and we had all we needed. The room was on the 4th floor, it was very quiet, we viewed a small courtyard. The room was clean and had nice toiletries provided. There is no coffee/tea makers in the room but they do provide it downstairs in the lobby area in the morning. We got the breakfast. I would call it a heavy continental. Food was good if you view it that way. If expecting a full service breakfast you will be underwhelmed. Definitely recommend the hotel

My name is Mike Gallof, and my wife and I were recent guests at your Morrison House Hotel in Alexandria. From the moment we arrived till the day we departed, we were blown away by the level of service we received. A very special recognition goes to Monique Mills. She is so sweet and went out of her way to explain the ins and outs of the hotel and guide us on things to do and places to eat in the area. Monique's professionalism and warm demeanor greatly enhanced our experience at your hotel. She went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met, and her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Her positive attitude and willingness to assist truly made a difference and contributed to a memorable visit. This is the first time that we stayed in a boutique hotel, as we usually stay in a more conventional hotel. This was such a nice change for us. The smaller hotel allows more individual attention and a much warmer feeling. Thank you for having such a dedicated team member. Wonderful stay at a quaint boutique hotel. First off I must give kudos to Miguel at the front desk. My check in very smooth as I came in early from out of town. Miguel greeted me with recommendations for dinner as well as an invitation to the onsite restaurant The Study. Upon entering my room the front desk staff called up to ensure that I was satisfied with my cozy room. Dinner at The Study was excellent the bartenders were engaging and the craft drinks were on point! The pianist was a nice touch with holiday music. And the icing on the cake was Miguel calling me today to let me know I left my EarPod in my room. When I come back to Olde Towne I will definitely be back to the cute little gem.

Great service on a tough day. I stayed at Morrison house Thanksgiving night after spending a week in hospice with my mom. It was evening checkin and I didn't know there would be no food or service that night - people were off for the holiday. It could have been a horrible experience, but Saphiare Monique Mills was amazingly supportive gracious and welcoming and very helpful. Explained the situation, helped me find food and made everything a little easier. Staff like this are few and far between. I will never forget that night and she made all the difference in the world.

Quaint and elegant old style accommodations while still having modern and crisp feel. You'll be one block away from King Street where everything is happening and the cozy bar and lively piano player will make for a nice night cap end to your day of adventure. We will come back!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience. It was quiet, cute, quaint, and the service was impeccable. We were greeted with smiles and care and attentiveness. Breakfast was great, great drinks, and we felt really taken care of. If you’re looking for, a getaway with terrific customer service, then this is the place to go.
