I reserved a week-long anti-stress cure. Upon arrival some of my key treatments were missing and I was told that this was due to the fact that they were managed by external providers and nothing could be done as they were not available. I had also anticipated by sending some specific requests to have some treatments and not others and to add a few extra treatments to by schedule. They had no trace if my emails and requests on their side and my confirmed (via e-mail requests) had not been taken into account. The majority of my anti-stress specific treatments were crammed into my last day and a half. I had to complain to get them to review my schedule. After having to insist too much, effort was made to accommodate but there was only so much that could be done with the availability that was left over. Needless to say this was not relaxing. While the yoga and hypnosis sessions done my externals were great, the hotel has no idea what they are doing with this cure and should really take it off their offerings list. The hydro therapists are lovely but some of the spa secretaries are not. The hotel itself if extremely noisy. Most rooms are placed around a two-story central atrium which is charming but the room doors are not sealed and light and noise filter in the inch and a half gap at the bottom of the doors (no insulation for sound of temperature). I was woken up at 8am by vacuuming from housekeeping in the atrium and kept awake until 11pm two other nights until families stopped playing card games in the common areas. My room was supposed go have windows and a balcony and I instead I had one small square window that gave out onto the parking lot. Even in the daytime, the lights had to be turned on. I was graciously allowed to change rooms after my first night. Over all the bedding is not 4-star quality and the double bed is simply two single beds pushed together without a pillow top or pad added. No free water is available in the room and no fountains in the hotel part are available to fill up water bottles. Their food options are limited and as the hotel . The towel racks in the bathrooms are rusty and the towels are worn. In the spa area, the teas were often empty and there is only one “salle de repos” that had three loungers. The outside seawater pool is great but the astroturf is worn and the lounger beds are stretched out and sagging so you end up lying on the frame. The lagoon has lots of jets but is booked for group classes at least 5 hours a day with music blasting. Classes are great if you do then but the lagoon is far from being a relaxing experience. While the hotel is located on the beach, there is no direct access to the beach from inside the hotel and the view from the dining area gives you just a sliver of ocean view. Breakfast was ok but nothing special with a limited selection worthy of a three star. Dinner was fine but the not half-board menu stayed the same for the whole week. Overall, extremely expensive for what you

Whilst I gave this a five realistically, I think it would be more of a 4.5. We had a lovely stay, It is such a beautiful area and there is lots to do. The hotel was generally great, but there are some things they could do. I think to improve it. The Good Location was amazing, Right on the beach with a promenade down to Biarritz. There were several beach cafe/bars in walking distance. However, it’s important to know they did get quite busy so it can be worthwhile booking. The room was very good. We paid extra for a Seaview and balcony which was well worth it as it was stunning sitting looking out across the ocean. The beds were very comfy and the room was clean and had good facilities. The outdoor pool was really nice. It was very clean and there were always plenty of sunbeds so no fighting to get the lounger! The staff were really wonderful they couldn’t be more helpful. They were so friendly and they really put themselves out for us a big thank you to all of them. there are a number of nice things to do in the area. You can walk to Biarritz is just over an hour or you can get a taxi or a bus from outside the hotel. There is a lovely nature reserve about 10 minutes walk from the hotel, which is well worth a look round and is free to visit. You can hire e-bikes from the hotel and cycle round to Bayonne. There is a safe cycle path all the way we did that and it made a nice afternoon out. Bayonne is really pretty and has a lovely cathedral to look around. What could be improved I felt that the breakfast could have been improved. Whilst what was served was nice it was quite a simple and basic selection and lacked the choice that you would expect from a 4 star hotel. A bigger hot food selection, some homemade cakes, more cheeses and cold meats would really improve this. The hotel food was nice but the snack bar only served from 12/2 and you could not get crisps/ice creams at all. This was frustrating as there are no shops nearby to get snacks from. A little snack kiosk or vending machine would be useful! The spa was fun but to be honest it did need a revamp. It was very tired looking and looked past its best. General Lovely time and I would go back to this hotel if they could just make a few improvements to the food and snack availability it would be perfect!

The hotel has a very nice location very close to the sea and it is very convenient to reach the nearby Biarritz center by bus. It also features a big and well equipped gym. Unfortunately, there are also downsides. In particular, house keeping leaves a great mess in the hotel aisles during the day. Used towels, dishes and cutlery are left there for many hours, and get even stored on the armchairs in waiting corners. The hotel is also not well prepared for visitors from foreign countries. Hotel announcements are printed in French language solely, and the restaurant does not offer an English translation for its daily menus. There would be more to say; in conclusion it could be a very nice place if managed with more care.

We as a family go there every year... Great location with great amenities (Pool, gym, salt-water baths, full spa)... but / and more importantly, the STAFF is always extremely friendly and very helpful ! Always rated it EXCELLENT, but this year, moving the rating to GOOD because - PLEASE bring back full menu room service - it used to have full menu room service, as well as a great menu downstairs at the pool bar/restaurant... That is a major disappointing change...

Hotel was absolutely amazing. The only caveat was there was no room service after 10pm - not even for a beverage if you wanted one. No vending machines, no staff had access to any beverages. Had to walk outside in the freezing cold to the hotel next. door to ask their lobby if they had an orange juice.

Good location Would not go again! Oriented to the french clients, not to the rest of the world. No signs or menue in english. How can that be? A fourstar hotel for 210€ and there is no bodylotion in the room after you went to the Thalasso Spa?! If you call reception they just say, we dont have. Minibar in 4 days not filled! Coming home in the evening and wanna have a drink or a beer, not possible.

Great stay with friendly and helpful staff. Suitable for people with mobility issues where the indoor pool has ramps for safety and a lifeguard in attendance most days. Room and bathroom were large and suitable for wheelchairs users. The bed was comfortable (not the pillows for us) and cleaned daily. The bathroom could do with bleach to remove marks on tiles and inside the toilet to look pristine but it was acceptable . The reception staff always smiling welcoming and helpful. The restaurant food was good but limited if you stay more than a week .If you opted for half board you have more choice. Both back and front house staff were friendly and accomodating for special requests ,thank you. In all great stay and we'll be back!
