This time I went to Guizhou for a spring tour, came to the old state, and stayed at the Youran Inn. It was a pleasant surprise. It seemed to feel like returning home. The service staff was very considerate and thoughtful. They introduced us to the fun places around and saw the beautiful scenery. Breakfast is very recommended, the local mountain spring well water porridge, the old state spicy chicken rice noodles are too cool, and the spring Qingming is also a must. The biggest harvest is to have tea and chat with the hostess and hostess, very happy! The room facilities are beyond expectations, comfortable, clean and quiet, and the owner's intentions are visible. ＇ I look forward to coming to Jiuzhou next time and coming to a place like home again!

GGuest UserThis is a homestay in Yunfengtun that hides ideals and worldly life. The atmosphere of the whole homestay is very warm and has local characteristics. There are simple medical items. The owner and the proprietress are very warm and enthusiastic. You can also hear the owner talking about guitar. The room is also full of happiness. I am sure I feel safe sleeping alone. The bed is very soft, the room is unique, exactly the same as the photo, and it is also very considerately equipped with a dryer. And the wonton made by the proprietress is delicious and has a lot of meat.

The food choice for dinner and lunch is rich and the breakfast is better than in many branded 5 star hotels. The service is extremely attentive, the hotel provides great range of extra services like free tea, transfer to the scenic spot, butler assistance, late night snacks! We spend great time! I am very grateful to the team for their exceptional care during the whole stay. My praise to the team and management!

GGuest UserI had booked another chain hotel with a higher price before, but when I checked in, I found that the room was not clean enough, so I checked out and changed to this Mercure Hotel. As a French chain brand, Mercure's quality is still very guaranteed. The quality is quite good in the same price range in Anshun! There is free parking on the ground, which is very convenient! The room is clean and hygienic! The breakfast time is 6:30-10 o'clock, which is very reasonable! Another thing is that I found that I forgot the sunscreen at the hotel after checking out. I called the front desk and they helped to mail it for free. The quality and service are absolutely first-class! The service is so good that I can't say anything

AAaron CedricThis hotel gives the guest a warm and personal touch. The best part of the hotel is that the owners are so friendly, treating the guests like family. On the first night I asked for a hot water bottle (热水袋) because I prefer to sleep with that rather than use the AC heating, and the ”mom” of the hotel went out of her way to find me one. On the last day when I was leaving early in the morning before the official breakfast time, she also made sure to give me a prepared breakfast so that I wouldn't be hungry on my day's journey. By the way, the normal breakfast of noodles/mixian is very tasty and nourishing with high quality ingredients. Anyways, the family that runs this hotel really want to make sure you have a comfortable stay, so they are always there to greet you and answer any questions and help you with whatever you need. Even when I asked for clues about where to find batik (蜡染) artists, they found me the phone number of batik artist in a nearby village. They are so eager to help guests squeeze the most out of all of Guizhou's wonders! In my case, as a foreigner and someone who doesn't speak Chinese too well, I found them very patient and helpful.
The rooms of the hotel are really elegant... simple, aesthetically pleasing design. The amenities are all comfortable: the bed mattress was a perfect balance of firm and soft, the shower had high pressure and hot water, etc. The wifi was strong and stable. I should point out that some of the hotel rooms only have a squat toilet, so if you need a seated toilet you should probably contact the hotel in advance to make sure that they have such a room for you before booking.
I should also point out the special location of this hotel. If you, like me, do not have a car and rely on didi or public transportation, then you should know that this hotel is quite a way into the countryside. In fact, on the road to the hotel, the taxi driver asked me, ”Why would you stay in such a remote hotel when there are good hotels in downtown Anshun?” Well, one of the reasons is because I do prefer personal hotels rather than corporate hotels. But also because my primary goal for my stay in Anshun was to see the old garrison villages (屯堡) in the area, not to see other sites like the famous waterfalls. If your goal is to see the old villages, then I think this is the perfect hotel for you. For one reason, one of the original garrison villages is just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. It's little-visited by tourists and so you'll have the whole place to yourself and get really great photographs. That village (called BenZhai [本寨]) is of great historical importance and is very photogenic, and it's so neat to live so close to it. There's another even bigger and more commercialized (and absolutely beautiful) garrison village, also within walking distance (15-20 minutes by walking), called YunShanTun (云山屯). You're also not too far from the most famous villages, namely JiuZhou and Tianlong. Those are at least an hour by walking, so you'll want to get a car. I found it to be nearly impossible to get a Didi driver to accept such rides in this countryside area, but the good news is that the hotel manager found a friendly guy from the village to drive me to those villages and also later to the airport, for the same prices that Didi predicted it would charge. If you do have your own car, then I don't think you have to worry about anything, as this villages in near the highway and thus you can readily access any of the sites of interest in Anshun from this hotel.
Overall, if you are looking for a hotel with warm and human experiences that is near to the places of great historical interest, this is the right hotel for you!

GGuest UserShanwu room faces the mountain, and is equipped with a terrace, chairs and a canopy. The scenery is great in this season, and there are no mosquitoes and the temperature is suitable for leisure and relaxation. The restaurant's food is delicious. The three of us ordered 5 dishes. The beef and bamboo shoots are soft and tasty, and the spicy chicken is fragrant but not spicy. After the meal, the tea and roasted milk cooked by the stove are delicious. There are also people to chat and introduce. The service is great. The breakfast is very humane until 1 pm. Thumbs up 👍
There are two small regrets:
1. The swimming pool in April is very cold and can only be viewed
2. The parking lot is three or four minutes away from the homestay and it is a slope. I am a little lazy to climb when I am tired after a day of playing. It seems that there is no elevator in the main building where my friend lives.

As the was an off season visit with very few others staying here, upon check-in we were upgraded to a room with a huge separate living room, a large bed room with the bath having separately enclosed toilet and shower areas and a spacious dressing area; and out in the large balcony area was a hot tub. Service during our stay was outstanding and the included breakfast excellent. As the room was a way from the lobby, shuttle service to the room and back just required a call to the front desk and included shuttle service to the nearby entrance to the Huangguoshu Waterfall. The free park bus to other sites (we also visited the Tianxingqiao Scenic Area, which was IMO even better than the Huangguoshu Waterfall area) was an easy walk from the resorts front gate,which we were shuttled to. If we ever go back to this area, this is definitely the place we will stay.

BBeibianpiaoguodexueThe hotel environment is excellent. It is in the Great Falls Scenic Area, with a fast access for direct entry. After breakfast at 8:30 in the morning, we went to the Great Falls Scenic Area first, walked down the mountain to the Water Curtain Cave first, and then walked to the bottom to experience it up close. There were not many tourists along the way, and finally took the elevator back, which was really great. Then we returned to the visitor center to transfer to the Tianxing Bridge. The whole trip was around 14 o'clock, and finally went to Doupotang. All the attractions were done in one day, without wasting time. The hotel's service was also superb, with welcome fruits prepared and luggage delivered to the room. The restaurant's dishes were also delicious. I strongly recommend staying at this hotel when visiting Huangguoshu. We stayed for two nights and it was really comfortable

GGuest UserThe housekeeper was very nice and helped upgrade the room to a duplex suite with a beautiful view. You don't have to rush when staying in the scenic area. The housekeeper will pick you up and drop you off when you go out, which is very convenient. It is also convenient for dining. It is recommended to stay for two nights.
