Omama Hotel

Omama is centrally located, only 5 minutes from Aosta`s main shopping street and pedestrian precinct. All the sights and restaurants are very close, too. We very much liked the colourful, fresh design throughout the hotel - from the rooms to the (breakfast) lounge, the elevators, the lobby, and even the facade. Our room had a good size, including a large bathroom. The room was well-appointed and quiet. Breakfast was good, and service at reception was very professional and friendly. Only caveat: As this is a building from the 60's the garage is very narrow. Even with a mid-sized car we had huge problems to park there.
Duca d'Aosta Hotel

Good location, good facilities and friendly But now, the two disadvantages are that the towel is dropped as baking soda, the sour smell is strong, and the other is that the laundry service costs are too expensive? I brought a little less clothes here to wash, but I was surprised to see the price. 6 pairs of socks, 6 panties, 3 white socks, and 49.9 Euro payment .... Still, the hotel itself is good, so it is good to avoid laundry service.
Le Reve Charmant

This is such a lovely apartment in a wonderful town. The hostess is great and went out of her way for us. I normally don't write reviews about places I've liked for fear that they become so popular that they become booked out and I won't be able to stay there again! Location is great in the old town - there must be 50 restaurants all within easy walking of the apartment. Gondola for Pila skiing is 10 minutes. There are lockers at the bottom. 6 day pass gives you 2 days in other Aosta ski resorts. We went to Courmayeur and La Thuile. I was surprised at how good the skiing was in Pila.

Coming off the SS27 it is easy to drive past this place in a rush to get into town. Simply don’t! This hotel is something else. Not five star because it doesn’t feel the need to be. It’s restaurant isn’t probably a place that Michelin will ever visit although it deserves all the accolades. The rooms are spacious and simply furnished. Everything you need and nothing you don’t and it all works perfectly. The staff are charming and extremely helpful. More to the point it has a real family feel where every single one of them we interacted with had an intense and genuine wish to help - without the five star obsequiousness. The restaurant is also very special. Again the whole family operate as one. All of them genuinely know and have an immense pride about the local ingredients they use and explain them clearly. The food itself is brilliantly presented and without fault. As if all of the above isn’t enough the price of everything reasonable, extremely good value for what you get. Visit. Stay. You won’t regret it.
Agriturismo B&B Chèvres à Cheval

The hotel is very comfortable and is located 20 minutes walking from the centre of Aosta, where the road back requires a solid climbing. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, but also the common space is connected with handcraft and hairdryer. (Who ever removes the dust from that?) The whole facility (mills, gardens, sprays) is called 'smiley', others would call it 'small'. There is no comment on the cleanness. There are many flying (for the horse stall) but no flight windows. There is a balcony, but only a kitchen chair. There is no air conditioning; the rooms are acoustic. Wi-Fi is often gone away and the TV is very small. Breakfast is OK, both in terms of supply and quality. The hotels are very friendly and the price is very reasonable compared to the hotels in Aosta itself.
