Turn left out of the hotel and just a few steps away, you'll find a street full of restaurants. The very first place on your left serves a great dinner. If you turn right and walk to the end of the street, the breakfast at that spot is fantastic! Their smoked salmon croissant was absolutely delicious!"

And this restaurant has dinner, saving the trouble of going to Apollo Bay town to find food, and the food is really delicious. There is no Chinese reception, so I rely on translation software. The restaurant environment is very good, and I saw wild koalas"

"Fabulous relaxing stay at the beautiful Chocolate Gannets cottages. The view was superb and cottage was comfortably furnished with a beautiful double sided fire that was seen in the lounge and inside the lovely spa room. We would definitely recommend for a couples holiday. Even with another couple it would be comfortable as both bedrooms were well appointed. We absolutely loved the koalas living onsite above the villas and having the opportunity to gaze upon them in the wild was magical."

The majesty of The Great Ocean Road is exemplified within the sublime atmosphere of our middle cottage. The somewhat cold, stormy weather was a joy to hear and behold within the firelit serenity and warmth of the most accommodating thoughtful surrounds. Every room a treat. Bryan is a most welcoming, accommodating and informative host. A trip to the laundry, about a kilometer up the property's driveway we encountered koalas among the eucalypts and more stunning views on this beautiful property. Whenever fondly remembering our wonderfully coastal trip from Sydney to Adelaide our stay at Bryan and Joan's cottage will remain the wow, an extraordinary experience from driving onto the property to departure."

"The room was very good, but too quiet at night, probably because it was the off-season. I initially thought that we were the only family staying at the hotel. I was a little scared when I couldn't see anyone smoking at the door at night. I didn't know until the next day that there were other guests nearby. I saw wild kangaroos, but the entrance was hard to find. I initially thought I had taken the wrong road. It was really wild."
