Apollo Bay Hotels with Parking

The room was great. We arrived at Apollo Bay around 7am and the hostess greeted us warmly and showed us the buffet breakfast. The room was small but well-equipped.

During our Great Ocean Road trip, we chose to stay at the Coast Motel in Apollo Bay, and the overall experience was fantastic – highly recommended! First off, the location is excellent, right near Apollo Bay town, making it super convenient to drive in and out. It's easy to get to the beach or nearby restaurants. The surrounding area is quiet and pleasant, creating a wonderful holiday atmosphere where you can really relax and unwind at night. The room was clean and tidy, and the space was more generous than expected; we had no trouble spreading out our luggage. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, which is incredibly important after a long drive on the Great Ocean Road. All the basic amenities were provided and worked perfectly. A huge plus was the convenient parking; we could almost park right outside our room, making luggage handling incredibly easy – very friendly for self-driving travelers. The staff were also very friendly. Check-in was smooth, and they were always willing to help when needed, making the whole experience feel very relaxed and stress-free. Overall, the Coast Motel offers reasonable prices and a comfortable environment, making it a perfect stopover on the Great Ocean Road. If I come back to Apollo Bay, I would definitely stay here again 👍

The room was very clean, and the deposit was refunded super promptly! I checked out that day and received the refund that same evening! It also came equipped with kitchenware, and the location is excellent, just a three to four-minute walk from the main street. Award-winning ice cream, a Chinese restaurant, and a supermarket are all within a five-minute walk. I highly recommend everyone try the Wonderful Restaurant! The Cantonese chef's cooking is delicious! The fried rice and stir-fries have that amazing 'wok hei' (wok-fired aroma), and the proprietress's beef brisket rice is generous and tasty! I also tried the ginger and scallion kangaroo, which was incredibly tender!

We are a family of 8, and we rented the entire unit, both downstairs and upstairs, for our stay. The weather was cold during our visit, but the beds were equipped with heaters, which made for a very comfortable night’s sleep. Each floor has its own bathroom and kitchen, which was incredibly convenient for our large group. The bathrooms came with basic toiletries, although there was no toothpaste provided, so be sure to bring your own. The kitchens were well-equipped and functional, with simple seasonings like salt and pepper. We brought our own cooking oil, but everything else was perfect for preparing warm meals for dinner and breakfast. The homestay is located in Marengo. One thing to note is that there are no supermarkets in Marengo itself, but Apollo Bay is just a few minutes' drive away. We recommend stocking up on groceries there before arriving if you plan to cook during your stay. Parking was more than sufficient for our Kia Carnival 8-seater, so we had no trouble with that. The area is wonderfully quiet, making it perfect for a relaxing, peaceful getaway. We had a truly pleasant stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious and comfortable place to stay.

This was a good stopover on our Great Ocean Road trip. The room had a great view of the ocean. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't on our side, with strong winds and rough seas the day we arrived. Apollo Bay has plenty of food options, so you don't need to worry about finding a meal when driving yourself. My only complaint is that I didn't see any hotel staff during our entire stay, so the service was practically non-existent. Also, parking in the courtyard is quite limited.

We have stayed only for a night. We arrived outside check in hours so our key was left for us to find. The room was clean, decent and amenities were as advertised. However keep in mind that the bed was moving and a bit uncomfortable. We couldn’t sleep much. If you are looking for a good bed or need one, keep in mind.

Room was really spacious and kitchen came with basic seasoning namely salt and pepper. There were tons of cockatoos on the porch in the morning so it can be a bit noisy but most people would usually be up by then so it should be fine.

Apollo Bay is the town where our family stayed the longest on this self-driving Great Ocean Road trip. Our family of five, two adults and three children, stayed in this cabin for three nights in a row. In addition to the beautiful scenery nearby, the most important thing is that it provides bicycles, boats, fishing rods, golf clubs, etc., and you can go to nearby courses. , play at the beach, we have fun every day! The owner Amanda and a friend of hers are taking care of these cabins. They are very nice people and can provide a lot of help to guests. For those of us living in domestic cities, burning wood in the fireplace to keep warm is a very interesting experience!

Excellent location for a stop by along the ocean road, 15 minutes drive to Apollo bay, quiet little property located at the foot of mountain and facing the sea, with fantastic ocean view and interesting rock and sand beach The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room of bay view is spacious with a small sitting room and all necessary utensils People just need to bring necessary food and drink to cook for themselves as there is a bit distance from the town center A little advice though: please provide air-conditioner for the accommodations as it’s pretty hot in summer in the room. It’s not comfortable and the guest cannot sleep well in the summer heat

Even if you arrive late, you will receive a letter telling you how to enter the room, saying that the door is not locked, the specific location of your stay, and how to check out the next day. The location is very good, less than ten minutes drive from the puffing train, and the house is very cute.
