• not sure how this is a 4 star. Rooms are not the cleanest. Sheets were stained, called the receptionist to change them and they did, but they were again stained. • restaurants are very expensive and do not have a wide variety especially for kids •pools are not clean • facilities inside the resort which are to be used by residents are at a cost as well. Not worth it at all • the only thing that i would say was at its best would be the breakfast.

Not the things they mentioned on their sites. Lots of things are not real to their description! Do not deal with issues properly. No electricity, we arrived in a dark room and it continued daily to cut off, very expensive and poor maintenance and very limited management to talk too. Over priced will not return again!

The Arbatax Park Resort is nestled amidst the breathtaking natural beauty of Capo Bellavista, Arbatax. It boasts three private beaches and a sprawling natural park where animals roam freely, often befriending the guests. The panoramic view from the hilltop, amidst the Sardinian donkeys, is simply awe-inspiring. Furthermore, the resort offers a plethora of pools, ideal for children and families alike. The restaurant showcases a quality buffet, again accompanied by a serene vista of the sea. However, that's where the accolades end. Services to explore the resort's surroundings are conspicuously absent. The excursions office will organize two sea tours of the magnificent Golfo di Orosei – one aboard a ship and the other on an inflatable boat – but there's a whole lot more to explore in the vicinity. There are no connections, for instance, to Lido di Orrì (where the resort supposedly has a private area, yet unaccountably unavailable) or to the picturesque Cea's beach, aside from an exorbitantly priced taxi service (€60 to Cea, a staggering sum given the mere 15-20 km distance). Heading north, the Selvaggio Blu trekking path, which leads to the iconic beaches of the gulf (Cala Mariolu, Cala Goloritzé, etc.), goes unmentioned, as does the Trenino Verde della Sardegna, which runs every Friday (a crucial detail to note!) and offers a chance to discover the wild, untamed interior. Moreover, the room I was assigned fell short of expectations for a four-star establishment. A simple thunderstorm was enough to allow rainwater to seep through the ceiling and drench the bed; the bathroom mirror was stained, and the wall was peeling. That same thunderstorm resulted in two blackouts and a protracted interruption of the Wi-Fi for several hours. The reception experience also left much to be desired. Upon checking in, I was merely handed a map of the park, a room number, and the instruction to find my own way. The resort is sprawling and certainly not intuitive initially, and navigating it with relatively heavy luggage was far from ideal. Furthermore, no steward was available to accompany me back to the main entrance on the morning of my departure, despite their presence for the welcoming ride. Frankly, I found this discourteous and smacking of indifference given that I was leaving rather than arriving. To add insult to injury, no one at the resort could provide information on the nearest bus stop. Despite the team's commendable efforts, the entertainment was abysmally lacking, unless you were a five-year-old. Adults could partake in morning stretching, water aerobics, and evening yoga, full stop. There were no games, no more intensive fitness courses (despite the presence of a well-equipped fitness area), and no evening shows (though I was told they were delayed by technical problems). Just some (at times somewhat melancholy) soft-bar evening music by the pool. A special commendation, however, goes to the team of entertainers. Their tireless dedication, despit

If your looking for a clean hotel with helpful staff and a great breakfast then do not stay here. The room utterly outdated, smelled, toilet flusher didn’t work, an ant infestation in the bathroom between the tiles, bed completely worn out and floor tiles missing. When I complained to reception staff was ignored and when I asked to speak to management was ignored further . Wasted my afternoon, couldn’t wait to leave . No internet in the rooms, breakfast probably get better in prison. Real shame . There was one member of staff who was lovely and extremely apologetic.

I went to Arbatax Park Resort with my wife, our 7-years old child and my 83-years old mother-in-law. On the advice of their sales office, we booked ourselves into Telis hotel, one of their sub-areas, which are all in the Arbatax Park resort. The reason they advised us to do so was that were were travelling with our mother, who has some trouble walking. We asked for a family room with location suitable for someone with disability and they assured us over the phone that we will be fine. We picked Arbatax because of their ego credentials, as indicated by their 2022 World's Leading Eco Resort title and their 4* rating, plus their Spa credentials etc. Upon our arrival, we found ourselves in an old, shockingly dirty and badly maintained place, with disgusting food, rude and badly trained staff and absolute disregard for basic guest needs. We found that Telis and Arbatax are not only not able to accomodate order and handicapem guests with their 80-ties design and stairs everywhere, but are also teribly dirty, falling apart due to lack of any maintenance and frankly unsafe for guests due to basic hygene and public spaces safety issue. I could elaborate for hours about their different and numerus fails during our curtailed stay there (we decided to check out after four days, despire having paid for eight), the most glaring problems being trash everywhere, 90 min check-in wait, inability to get in any civilised way to their spa (the only option being getting there in smelly Diesel old bus with open top after 30min wait for the said bus, travelling in half-hourly intervals), inability to offer any transport assistance within the resort to our 83 years old mother, ugly and dirty pools and common areas, shockingly bad food etc etc. Instead I will lat attached photos speakerem for themselves. THIS IS A TERIBLY DIRTY HOTEL NOT DESERVING 4* RATING BY ANY MEANS. IT SHOULD BE CLOSED ON SANITARY GROUNDS. STAY AWAY.

Where do I start?! The positives: not your typical beach setting but I kind of love that rocky beach, not your standard looking, the water is crystal clean with loads of fish so great for snorkeling. The majority of staff we encountered during our 5 night stay were friendly, but not all. The views are incredible. But that's just about it for positives I'm afraid. The animal park is great for the kids they loved it and so did we, petting the donkeys, horses etc The negatives: 1. The hotel is sooo outdated. Maybe that's the point for it to be rustic and all but omg its in dire need of a refurb. This is NOT a 4 star by any standard. I'd give it a 2 but I think I'd be quite nice. If you're after staying in a 1960s room then maybe. Had loads of ants in the room, the fittings were poorly fitted with screws showing... Anyway I stayed in 3 starts looking hell of a lot better. Everything is either uphill or downhill, if you're not fit, you'll struggle. 2. We took our kids with us and we booked full board for that reason so we dont have to faf around with breakfast and dinner for them. HOWEVER, one of our biggest disappointments with this place was the food. We were expecting that being in Italy we would have great food at the resort. We were so wrong. The food although not completely horrible, was very under par with anything and anywhere else we'd been, and we'd been in loads of places. The kids options were inexistent almost. No pizza in the buffer for kids IN ITALY?! OMG, not even the basic one? Mind you they had a pizzeria but we had to pay extra ... For pizza ... In Italy. We were so disappointed we went out and ate on two occasions. I asked the guy who was serving the pasta, for a bit more souce and got rejected. I asked why he shrugged his shoulders ..***?! No juices for the kids at lunch or dinner , only at breakfast... Only draft beer, water and wine included. Would we go there again? Definitely not. Would we recommend anyone to go there? Sardinia, yes. Arbatax Park, hell no. It is such a shame the service we received was sub par because the sea and the views are amazing . Anyway, we were truly disappointed by our experience there. You'll have much better time elsewhere for the same or less money.

I stayed at Arbatax Park Resort from the 1st of September to the 5th of September, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a so-called 4-star hotel. From start to finish, the stay was a complete disaster, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone—especially families! Firstly, the reception at the Cottages was horrendous. The receptionist was beyond rude and dismissive, with a horrible attitude, making us feel unwelcome from the very moment we checked in. Any requests we made were met with resistance and condescension, making the whole check-in process frustrating. To make matters worse, we dined at their independent restaurant, which they have the audacity to call a "winery." It took nearly two hours for them to serve a simple platter of meat and cheese, which, shockingly, only consisted of one type of cheese and meats. When we politely inquired whether the platter should include a variety, the waitress rudely snatched the plate away and returned it with more of the same cheese! I ordered two glasses of prosecco, but was served something that tasted like flat wine. My husband, on the other hand, was never served his wine, yet they were happy charged us for it! The service was not only inattentive but aggressive, and the staff even resorted to swearing—all while our 2-year-old daughter was present. Absolutely appalling! If that wasn’t enough, the following evening, around 11 PM, we were rudely awakened by two housemaids trying to unlock and enter our room. This terrified our child, and we were left wondering why on earth anyone would attempt to access a guest’s room at that hour. We never received an explanation. The cherry on top came on the day we were leaving. On the morning of the 5th of September, I called the same rude receptionist at the Cottage to request a car to take us to the parking area (the hotel is incredibly hilly, and the car park is situated on top of a mountain). She rudely informed me that I hadn’t booked the car the night before—something I wasn’t even made aware of! Instead of helping, she continued to be rude and dismissive. We had a toddler, a buggy, and luggage to carry uphill, but she couldn’t care less. When I asked to speak with a manager, she smugly told me that no manager would talk to me, and then said there were no managers on-site until 9 AM. In a hotel this size, how is it possible that there’s no manager available? This hotel is run like an absolute circus. The staff are rude, unattentive, and act like wild dogs, running the place however they want. This was not a 4-star experience by any stretch of the imagination. The cleanliness was also questionable, more like a 2-star establishment at best. Thankfully, after this nightmare, we checked into Cala Di Lepre, where the service was night and day in comparison—friendly, professional, and attentive, as one would expect from a proper 4-star hotel. If you’re planning to travel with family and considering staying here,

My experience at Arbatax Park was profoundly disappointing. The hotel markets itself as an Eco Resort, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. One glaring example is the constant presence of a large bus roaming the property, consuming fuel throughout the day. This alone contradicts the resort's claim of being eco-friendly, and it felt like greenwashing rather than a genuine commitment to sustainability. The property is massive, making internal transportation a necessity, but the transportation service was poorly managed. The buses were infrequent and always overcrowded, leading to long wait times. This made moving around the resort incredibly frustrating and left us feeling trapped, as walking long distances in the heat wasn't an option. A resort this size should have a well-coordinated, frequent, and reliable shuttle system, which clearly was not the case. The accommodations themselves were a disappointment. The shower barely worked, with hot water fluctuating unpredictably, and the bed was uncomfortable. Both the bedding and towels were of such low quality, they felt more appropriate for a budget hostel rather than a supposedly upscale resort. One of the worst aspects, however, was the poor service from the staff. The employees were unhelpful, lacked basic hospitality skills, and at times were outright rude. There was no cordiality or willingness to assist, and when issues were brought to their attention, they were dismissive and unprofessional. The lack of good management was evident everywhere, from the disorganization in services to the unfriendly attitude of the staff. For a resort of this caliber, I expected much better. The breakfast offering was another major letdown. The selection was extremely limited, with very low-quality food. Considering the price of staying at this resort, this level of service was unacceptable. To make matters worse, the beach chairs and seating areas were all made of plastic—another contradiction to the resort’s claim of being environmentally friendly. For a place that touts itself as sustainable, investing in plastic furniture is simply hypocritical. Lastly, the Wi-Fi service was abysmal. It barely worked, and during peak hours, it was practically non-existent. In today’s world, reliable internet is a basic expectation, especially at a resort that claims to be a premium destination. Overall, my stay at Arbatax Park was frustrating from beginning to end. Between the poor management, the rude and unhelpful staff, and the numerous service failures, the experience fell far below my expectations. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
