There was something for everyone, and every meal exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Housekeeping did an excellent job, and everything was maintained to good standard.The staff was professional, friendly, and always willing to help, making our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing experience. We will definitely be coming back!"

"I could not fault the hotel! All staff were very helpful and accommodating. There is a shop on site that sells everything you could need. The buffet food is good quality and everything is well cooked, however there is not much variety and most dishes are meat or fish in a tomatoey sauce. On some nights we found it difficult to find things to suit our tastes (however we probably just have a boring english palette , and if you are more adventurous this may suit you better.) There is a variety of drinks available from 10:30am-10pm from the bar, bar staff lovely and drinks all very nice. Pool are is lovely and sunbeds were always available (no sunbed wars!). The only downside to this hotel is probably the location. There is only 1 restaurant and 1 small shop in close proximity, beach is okay. If you want to have a day out i would recommend Rhythmeno which is 20 ish minutes away (2.20 on the bus, or 25 in a taxi). If we came again we would probably hire a car to see more of the island. We really enjoyed our time here and did a boat trip and a bus tour, aswell as nice restaurants and shops. Rooms were all nice and clean and with lovely views."

"A lovely resort with fantastic staff. Thanks to Nikky for her advice. They offered some great excursions. The pool was a bit chilly, but we were there in September. The beach, however, was really not great. It would be a good idea to install motion-activated lights in the hallways, as it would save them a lot of money and be better for the guests, since light leaks under the doors and it's a bit annoying. Overall, a great and very relaxing stay."

"I booked this holiday a few months ago with my boyfriend, we stayed for a week at the end of June 2026. We had the most wonderful time, the hotel is spotless & exceptional service all round. The staff were incredibly helpful & nothing was ever too much bother for them. The Canteen which provides your snacks throughout the day between 10.30-6.00pm was amazing, the quality of food was fabulous & the chef was so kind & helpful. The only downfall I would say is that the all inclusive buffet is VERY SMALL. There isn't a lot to choose from & the variety isn't great either. The hotel was based in a very good location to Rethimyno. This is a must visit, the old town their is beautiful. Chania is also gorgeous in the evening, by the port, this is a must have visit! We travelled to WaterCity Water Park, one day which was about 1 hour 20 minutes away, closer to Heraklion, hiring a car if you want to go out of the days is essential as everything is quite far apart from one another. If you want to visit a really lovely beach, Elafonssi is stunning. It's about a 2 hour 30 minute drive but wow is it worth it! The clear water & the views are incredible. I would 100% recommend this hotel & location :) My boyfriend & I had a lovely stay, thank you so much."

"My wife and I spent 10 nights at this hotel. From the very start, right through to the last moment we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Because of late flights, we were due to arrive at around 1 am and really weren't expecting anything on arrival except a swift booking in procedure, so when we were told we'd been upgraded from a double room to a suite we were very pleasantly surprised. We were also offered a lovely pasta salad in case we were hungry after the journey which we both gratefully accepted and devoured having not realised just how hungry we were. We had hired a car from just outside the airport and I would advise anyone else to think about hiring a car if you want the convenience of independent travel while staying here. You can park out the back of the hotel on a very quiet little road with access to the hotel grounds from the rear. The suite was modern, clean, spacious, quiet and very comfortable with all the amenities one would expect. There just wasn't any traffic noise at night, there's nothing else I can say about that. One evening, a couple of days into our stay we noticed a mysterious water leak coming down the wall, I informed reception, not to complain, but just to let them know about it and it was immediately addressed by the front desk and we were offered a different room, which we didn't take up as we really didn't feel it was needed and we were happy with the room. The next morning the hotel technician came, assessed the problem and fixed it completely with no further leaks for the rest of our stay. Things happen, all you can ask is that they're dealt with efficiently, and I couldn't possibly have asked for a better response from all concerned. The restaurant is buffet style both for breakfast and dinner with a good selection to choose from at breakfast including having one of the chefs cook any type of omelette requested if you wish. Dinner has even more choice and I availed myself of several starter dishes and deserts every night as well as a great choice in both international and Greek cuisine for main dishes. No complaints at all. A very reasonably priced lunch option is available from the pool bar and it really was a very good price for food compared to when we ate out for lunch in Rethymno, Heraklion or Chania. This is a very clean hotel, you will constantly see staff washing and cleaning around the pool in the morning, mopping the floors throughout the day as well as keeping all the rooms clean and well serviced. What makes a great hotel standout from a very good one? In my opinion it's the staff that make the difference. The staff at CHC Imperial Palace, and I mean every single one of them from the cleaners, restaurant staff, front of house and pool bar staff are only too happy to be as helpful and friendly as you could possibly ask for. Their welcoming nature and helpful friendliness seems effortless and never forced. I can't emphasise enough how much of an asset they all are to the successful running"

"This was the second time we visited the hotel, and we were very pleased with our room. One drawback was that the room was over the eating area, so at 7 o'clock in the morning, one could hear the cleaning staff. We enjoyed the luxury of the saltwater pool and the friendly service of Maria and Labrini especially. The beds are very comfortable, and although the TV has many channels, there's one drawback: one cannot adjust the volume. Live music was given once or twice a week and was very enjoyable to watch and listen to. We appreciated the hard work of the employees after the huge dust storm to clean up the eating area and the pool area. Within a day, it looked a lot better. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a leisurely vacation."

"Very friendly they couldn't do enough for there guests ,I asked for a bigger room which was done straight away without any problems, I also didn't have a kettle iny room ,I asked for one ,this was also taken care of promptly. food was very nice , cooked fresh every evening had good 3 courseeal every evening also good selection for breakfast, Pool bar was also open which was great for drinks round the pool and lunch Great place to relax and chill out on holiday"

"A truly authentic boutique hotel, the room was clean and spacious. The whole place felt homely and was well kept and managed to retain the Cretan feel which can be hard to find these days on an island of square box villas. We enjoyed the feel of the whole site, very cleverly designed and broken up like a true village. Splendid atmosphere, the food and breakfast were relaxing and peaceful. Service and staff were to a high standard - the menu was maybe a touch pricey and could benefit from a few casual options. There isn’t a huge amount to do in the area but we knew this and because the site is so nice it didn’t matter anyway. This was our favourite out of the 3 hotels we stayed in on a 9 day holiday.
