Rethymno Palace
"The staff were really kind and attentive to detail. Whether we talk about the beach bar staff, the breakfast/lunch/dinner staff, the cleaning ladies, reception, or the hotel operator. They are all cheerful, full of energy, always smiling, and doing their best to meet our requests. Our room was cleaned daily, including changing the towels. Around the pool there are plenty of sunbeds, and the water is pleasant even for kids (the pool is 1.10m to 3.0m deep). The beach is literally 5m from the beach bar, with free sunbeds for hotel guests (beach towels are available with a €10 deposit). At the beach bar there are different events each day, with music playing and TVs on. The hotel includes table tennis, a tennis court (which we used during our stay), a snooker table, and table football. As a young couple, we found everything we needed to enjoy our stay. At reception, they even helped us rent a car. Last but not least, the food is delicious. A different regional dinner each day (Italian, Greek, vegetarian, Japanese, etc.). The breakfast buffet is also rich, with a huge list of options, and the same goes for the lunch buffet. Lobed the cocktails at the beach bar 😂"

"The stay was pleasant. But the selection of food was extremely poor. The room is a bit small for a couple"
Begeti Bay Hotel
"Good meals a bit repetitive, noisy toilets"
Eleven Boutique Suites
"Very good hotel. The owner is very welcoming and gave me orange juice when I left."
Maravel Star Art Hotel
"A lovely resort with fantastic staff. Thanks to Nikky for her advice. They offered some great excursions. The pool was a bit chilly, but we were there in September. The beach, however, was really not great. It would be a good idea to install motion-activated lights in the hallways, as it would save them a lot of money and be better for the guests, since light leaks under the doors and it's a bit annoying. Overall, a great and very relaxing stay."
AQUILA RITHYMNA BEACH
"***** reception boss, some ****** in the main restaurant. Beach towels changing hours from 10 to 14 daily. It is too short."
Azul Eco Hotel
"Zara and Yacine are The best in Hotel 🏨"
White Olive Elite Rethymno
"It was so amazing time we spent. The hotel is perfect. So kind personnel. We were satisfied with room service. The food was delicious and various. So,I'd like to advise every family to try it out. Weather, outstanding sea and beautiful landscape whith careness of professionals will make your vocation unforgettable."
The Syntopia Hotel - Adults Only
"We are currently staying at The Syntopia Hotel in Crete, and it has exceeded our expectations. The hotel is spotless, well maintained, and finished to a very high standard. The overall atmosphere is stylish, relaxing, and perfect for a couples’ getaway. The hotel is adults-only and promotes a laid-back, bohemian vibe rather than a party atmosphere. Some reviews describe this as a “party hotel”, but we honestly don’t understand those comments. We’d love to see the parties they’ve been to because our experience has been the complete opposite. The atmosphere is calm, relaxing, and easy-going. We were also concerned about the sunbed situation after reading previous reviews. However, there is no need to get up at 5:30 a.m. We have been heading down around 7:30 a.m. each day and have always managed to find sunbeds. That’s not an unreasonable time to get up on holiday, and naturally you can’t expect beds to remain available all day. The staff have been outstanding throughout our stay. Nothing is too much trouble, and everyone seems genuinely happy to work here. A special mention goes to the gentleman working at the Catch Bar with the mullet and piercings. He is professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive to guests around the smaller pool area. Overall, The Syntopia has been one of the most relaxing holidays we’ve had, and we would happily return in the future. I’d rate this as a strong 5-star review."

Dedalos Touch Boutique Hotel
"This place is simply amazing! We were amazed by the modern architecture of the villa house, amazed by the astonishing views on the open sea and unforgetable sunsets, amazed by the huge private pool and amazed by the peaceful country side sorrounded by olive trees. This is a complex of 2 villa houses and 5 apartments and it is so clever designed that you won’t feel lonely here, but at the same time you will have your own intimacy. We were in one of the villas and had the best relaxing vacations ever! Highly recommend."
Eva Bay Hotel on the Beach - Adults Only
"The best vacation we’ve ever had! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the receptionist, who provided us with all the information we needed. Our room was very cozy, with a beautiful view of the sea and the pool. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable. The pool area was amazing, with large sun loungers that felt like beds—also very soft and comfortable. The bar offered a wide variety of drinks, and the beach was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The food was absolutely delicious, with an incredible selection of hot dishes, desserts, and beverages. One of the biggest advantages was the peaceful atmosphere, as this is an adults-only hotel with no children. The location is also very convenient. Within walking distance, there are plenty of shops and restaurants, and getting to Rethymno is very easy, whether by bus or taxi. A special mention goes to all the staff—they were incredibly professional, friendly, and genuinely kind. A special thank you to Georgia, Irina and Panagiota for the outstanding service, amazing drinks, very warm conversations and their friendliness and genuine warmth. Would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the owner Pantelis, It was the first time we had seen a hotel owner personally helping the staff, being so genuine, caring, and attentive, while truly valuing the opinions and comfort of the guests. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy a perfect and unforgettable holiday!"

Aegean View Hotel - Rethymno
"Our stay at this boutique beachfront hotel near Rethymno was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the incredibly quiet location and the serene, peaceful setup of the property. If you are looking for a tranquil getaway where you can truly unwind right by the sea, this is the perfect place. The rooms are beautifully renovated, modern, and spotlessly clean. A huge shoutout to the cleaning ladies, who were incredibly nice, warm, and kept everything in pristine condition throughout our stay. What really sets this hotel apart, though, is the exceptional, personalized hospitality. The owner, Manolis, goes absolutely above and beyond to accommodate every single demand with a smile. His dedication to his guests is unmatched. And right by the bar, Sifis the bartender was an absolute delight—so fun to chat with and always mixing up great drinks with a fantastic attitude. The combination of a stunning location, flawless rooms, and a team that treats you like family made our stay unforgettable. We cannot recommend the Aegean View highly enough and are already dreaming of our next visit!"
Carme Villas
"We had an amazing time – the place was perfect, especially for families with children. So peaceful and quiet, exactly what we needed to relax. Katerina is a fantastic host – warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and a great way to start the day. One of the highlights was spotting a badger in the garden one evening – such a special moment! Highly recommended."
Rethymno Mare Royal & Water Park
"Their rooms have cockroahes, and they don’t even do anything about it. I just got the massage from the reception, that I could kill it myself. Then turned up another one, then another….how disgusting is that! At the end of our stay, we gave a live one back to the reception - since they like them. We Never Ever come back!"
Creta Royal - Adults Only
"Absolutely gorgeous hotel in a fantastic location right on the beach. Rooms are spacious and stylish. Staff were wonderful and the food was amazing. We went on an all inclusive package which is definitely worth it. The pools are lovely and there are plenty of loungers so didn’t see any early morning lounger baggers! The vibe is very relaxed. There is entertainment each night in the hotel next door if you fancy it and also a well stocked shop there too. The spa is worth a visit and we had the best full body massage I’ve ever had. The sunsets from here are outstanding. Definitely recommend."
Amira Luxury Resort & Spa - Adults Only
Kapsaliana Village Hotel
"What a great resort! Excellent on all fronts - views, facilities, staff, restaurant. The entire hotel is a remodeled small Greek village - so it’s extremely charming and the facilities are gorgeous. Our room included a large living area and a very private balcony with views of the canyon, perfect for sipping wine in the evening or enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning. The breakfast at the restaurant is amazing! You need a car to stay here, since it was out of the way from the coastal cities, in the hills. However, it is within driving distance of a few charming villages with cafes and tavernas, so you can enjoy a nice local dinner on your way back from a day trip. Highly recommend this hotel/resort. And best of all, it is a part of Hyatt system, so you can accumulate points in Hyatt."
Ekavi Hotel
"Wonderful staff. Friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Spent 10 nights and had wonderful evenings at the bar. Amazing sunset view by the pool and bar. All rooms have a side view to the sea from the balcony. "
Hotel Palladion by Anayia All Inclusive Resorts
"Lovely hotel, very clean and the staff are amazing. I would absolutely return. Great location to the beach, which is a maximum of a 10-minute walk. Shop over the road for ice cream and whatever else you need. Bus stop just outside. The food was good. We all found something to eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. "
Imperial Palace Adults Only
"Just returned from a 10 day stay with my daughter at this lovely hotel. This was my daughter’s second visit. We had a lovely ground floor room that overlooked the pool. The room had everything we needed for our stay. Had towels and also beach/pool towels which was great. Our bed was so comfy and huge. The aircon was great. The room was spotless and cleaned everyday. For our stay we had breakfast and evening meal which was lovely. Lots to pick from and cater for everyone. Spotlessly clean everywhere. The staff were amazing. Such happy people. It was like I had always known them. The staff helped us with what buses we wanted to get. The bus stop was a 2 minute walk and only cost 2 euros to get to the old town which was about a 30min ride. I will be returning. Thank you for making my holiday 🙂"
Harmony Rethymno Beach Hotel
